I inquired about a car on line. Set up an appt through their scheduler to see the car. Went in after work and there are recalls on Sentra's so they can't be sold. Salesman Erik to save the day. Played the part of being annoyed at his co worker, talk to the manager, get me a great deal, etc. and t back and forth between him going back to his manager on price . Called me at 3 pm yesterday "great news it's a deal! ". I explained my funds would be available Wednesday or Thursday. All good settled. Called this morning and management pulled the deal. Complete waste of time and all an acting game. So disappointed and angry. Karma.

Thruway NissanDec 13, 2023mmp5322STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! ! If you want to buy a used car from these guys, be aware that they don't check it before selling it to you. They'll sell it as they received it. The moment you leave the dealership you're on your own. You can come back an hour later with a problem and they'll blame it on you. Have your mechanic check it completely before you give any money, and I mean everything including the tires (Mine had a huge plug that started leaking after a few weeks and they said I was responsible) The biggest problem was a faulty clutch which the Kia dealer diagnosed to be replaced, and they did not want to hear it. I bought the car with 15,000 miles so I could not be wear and tear. I felt the clutch was not working properly as I did the first test drive. I thought I would have my mechanic check it after I got it hoping that the 90 day warranty would cover any problems. WRONG!!! I never had any problems with any car dealer in the 50 + years I drive, new and used cars. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY. BEWARE!!!

Do NOT purchase a Nissan Rogue with a sunroof. I purchased my Rogue Jan. 15, 2018. A few years ago after a huge rainstorm, water was pouring into my car from the sunroof and glove compartment. There was so much water that I had to use a wet vac to get rid of it. It took hours to remive the water. I went to Nissan and was told that that I would have to pay $500 to have the water drained. I declined because I didn't do anything to cause the problem. In June of this year, the priblem began again. I went back to Nissan at the beginning of July and spoke with Jessica Bowie, the Service Advisor who was extremely rude. She told me there was nothing they could do unless I were to pay $450. I told her that would be a no because that's a Nissan defect and not a problem that I caused. She then said, "what do you want from me?" I told her that I wanted them to fix the problem. She then said that was going to happen unless I was going to pay $450. I then spoke with Angel Roman the Sales Manager regarding Jessica's behavior. I explained the problem to him and told him she was very rude. He said, "I'll speak to her". My response was, I'm sure you will. It is extremely frustrating having water fall down on my head from the sunriof, and have water dripping down from the eyeglass holder. The perimeter top of the car is turning brown from the water damage. The driver's side carpet appears to have mold which I believe is the root to my new cough. Presently, I am looking into getting a lawyer. Smh

On August 22 I paid Nissan 750 dollars to install a factory accent lighting kit. They installed the wrong kit and it didn't work. Then on august 13th they installed the correct kit but they still didn't work. The technician told me he couldn't figure out why they weren't working and when I asked the service manager for my money back he laughed at me and said no. So I paid 750 dollars for 4 bulbs that don't work :(

"I recently purchased a Nissan Leaf from Thruway Nissan Newburgh using DocuSign technology instead of actual printed papers. However, my experience with this dealership has been nothing but disappointing. First of all, they misrepresented the range of the car as 212 miles per charge when in reality it is only 150 miles per charge. This is a significant difference and it has caused me a lot of inconvenience and frustration. But that's not all. When I signed the loan agreement using DocuSign, they changed the agreed monthly payment from $457 to $578 without any explanation or disclosure during the signing process. This is a clear case of deceptive trade practices and it has left a bad taste in my mouth. When I tried to return the car the next day and cancel the loan, they refused to take it back and claimed that no law can fore them to do so. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and it shows that Thruway Nissan Newburgh is not a trustworthy dealership. I urge anyone considering doing business with them to think twice multiplied by 100 times."

We have leased our vehicles through them for years. We received a letter offering a early turn in on our lease with a monetary promotion promise.Long story short. All smoke and mirrors, bait and switch tactics. Typical shady car sales techniques.Highly disappointed and will never be back.

Bought a 2023 Nissan Leaf from Thruway Nissan in February 2023. After some haggling, they gave me a better price than other nearby Nissan dealers. Picked up the car, got the $1000 NY State rebate. They answered my questions after the sale. I'm a satisfied customer.

Did a recent oil change. The did not tighten the nut , the oil completely drained out. Had to add 3 quarts to get it to them to fix. Conversation with service manager, he said" there will always be a leak, when you change oil", Really, what a joke!!, stay the he'll away, if you value your vehicle!

Took my car in for oil change , tire rotation, recall repair, brakes replace all four sides and door molding repair.was told there would be a loner car for me . Needless to say no car available . Took two day for parts . Picked car up had to bring it back for recall part because they had to order it . Two weeks later day before scheduled repair brake lights came on major malfunction lights . was told to bring it in there would be loner for me again no loner they did recall checked why malfunction lights told me brake fluid was low . Hmm never had any issues with fluid til they did brakes . I am not happy won't bring my Back . Only thought it was because if extended warranty but that was false . Done not going back there for third time . I'll take it to my mechanic and get it fixed the right way first time .

This is for the service department in itself. The original review was for the SALES department. I've come here a handful of times and I've never had an issue with car servicing. The last time I came, I had an actual CVT issue (The one Nissan extended the warranty for, since it was a recall) and they replaced it. I dealt with a manager, Mike Pussilano, and the word he gave me (In lieu of the cost/time/etc) was kept. The communication was great as well. I appreciate it.
