My girlfriend bought a 2018 Ford F150 from this dealership two years ago. She has been having very bad transmission problems such as torque shutter and slippage. It is an inherent problem in these vehicles and the manufacturer knows it so I called out for her to get an appointment because her warranty is still in effect from the factory till December 31. Today is November 20th. I was told. that they don’t have a transmission technician available for a while they said they were 25 Ford F1 50s ahead of us so I said to the receptionist in service that they couldn’t get us in until mid January maybe February 2024. And then I said what I warranty will be expired. She said there’s nothing I can do about that they don’t have a transmission and then I would have to call Ford themselves and get permission to make it covered under the warranty. This is unheard of because you don’t have a technician you’re gonna let my warranty expire and not be covered under the warranty from the factory and I have to call corporate for permission for this to be covered under my factory warranty. That is this car dealerships, responsibility and this receptionist or service technician. was talking to was rude, no sympathy, no empathy and could care less if this car got fixed, which again is well known by Ford. I have never experienced this in all the years I have bought many vehicles I would never buy a car from the dealership will have anything serviced from this dealership. If I can give less than one star, I would buyer beware

I bought my Ford Edge from Sunshine Ford. It has been a really good experience. James Schultz our sales representative did a great job. He did not pressure us in any way, He took the time to show us the car. The price was very competitive and they gave us what we wanted for our trade in. Since buying our car, the service has been very good. If you are thinking of buying a Ford, I would recommend you stop by Sunshine Ford and ask for James.

If only you could rate zero stars. I leased 3 brand new $50,000 vehicles from them over 5 years. The last vehicle leased was nothing but problems from day one. It was in the shop 7x over 2.5 years. The last 3 months of the lease it sat at the dealership waiting for one part that never came. I was forced to pay 3 months of a lease and never saw the car again. I asked them to make the situation right. They were not willing to do anything to help out a loyal customer. I have never and will never return to this dealership again. I have since purchased two new Ford vehicles and drove an hour rather than do business with these idiots.I also had them install a remote start on an F150. I paid $600 for the starter with install. It never worked, not once. I had the truck in 3 separate times to try and get it resolved and finally just gave up. They never refunded me.

John, my service advisor was amazing. He was able to track down the parts my explorer needed (during the auto worker strike) and the team at Sunshine Ford got my SUV back on the road in just a day.

This sunshine ford in Newburgh ny is awful!! I brought my car in for a recall on the driver side airbag and they returned my car with a passenger side airbag dashboard light on. They said they didn't do it and it's just a coincidence. So they let me leave with nonworking airbags in my car and I have a sick husband and two children that I drive around to school and to doctors appointments. They refused to take responsibility for messing up my airbags. I will never buy a Ford or use their service repair Ever again. The owner was aware of the situation and didn't care.

Every time that I have had my truck serviced at Sunshine Ford in Newburgh, NY, the service department has gone out their way to make sure that not only is your vehicle being taken care of but so is the customer. They frequently check with you to let you know the progress of the repairs and if they should find something else wrong, they have one of the mechanics take the time to explain the repairs and the best way to fix the problem. I love and appreciate their courtesy and support and patience. Thanks everyone!

Outstanding dealership. Randy in sales and Gene the GM are "Rockstars". They are knowledgeable, professional and eager to please. In my 25 plus years of leasing Fords every experience has been transparent, pleasurable and stress free. Our current Ford lease ends on August 30th. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves and upgraded to a custom order 2023 Lincoln Corsair. The fact that we moved from NY to the state of Florida and still came back to Sunshine proves how much we value this dealership. If you give them a try, I'm confident you won't be disappointed.

I have leased a car from this location twice in the past. This second lease I’m currently in has not been a pleasant experience. There were electrical issues with the vehicle from the beginning. The panel board that controls 90 percent of the functions for the 2020 explorer has had problems since the beginning of the lease. I even stated to them in the third or fourth month of the lease that I believe the car had an electrical problem. I have had the issue checked by them and it was corrected in the past. I extended a two year lease and everything that goes wrong such as the panel screen and phone charging jacks is supposedly out of warranty. You can not regulate the AC, adjust the radio, make calls or use navigation if the panel screen does not operate. Phone jacks on the front dash area don’t operate properly as well. There is not heavy wear and tear done with the vehicle it is three years old and has malfunctions from the beginning. Now the lease is one month to expire and the panel is not working yet again. I took the car for service for this issue as well as a state inspection was needed. I find it very odd the car passed inspection and the panel worked for all of two days after. When I called to state that the panel isn’t working I was then told that they never repaired or fixed the panel and I needed a diagnostic which they never told me during the inspection. Oh and I have to pay for diagnostic now after the inspection. Mind that they didn’t charge me for the inspection. I thought that was awesome customer service being displayed yet it clearly was a distraction because they never repaired the panel they just made it work to pass inspection. Very shady operations. It gives ticket building activity. Attached are videos of what happens with the panel and this has happened throughout my lease.

On our way home from out of state we broke down and had our vehicle towed to sunshine ford. Everyone there was friendly and empathetic, and an absolute joy to deal with. Due to time constraints we weren’t able to have our vehicle repaired there, instead we had it towed home. Regardless we were treated with the best care during the whole ordeal. If we had the money we would be buying our new vehicle from sunshine ford without hesitation. The people there were magnificent and we’re grateful for their hospitality during a difficult time.Shout out to Tog, who was the person that first greeted us when we arrived. He was beyond helpful and a blast to talk to.Thank you everyone at Sunshine Ford!

Service Department: Poor communication. Never followed through on promise to order a new mobile charger. Been waiting for 2 weeks. Don’t bother calling corporate, they are no help. If you have a Mach E don’t bother taking it to their service department.

Best experience in buying a car in all my life. Joe and his staff were amazing. James, my salesman, was on top of his game and could not of been more friendly and knowledgeable. I will never go to another dealership other than Sunshine Ford.

BEWARE...Although my experience at Sunshine Ford had been and continues to be delightful, I have a major disappointment with Ford. The layout of the maverick is VERY thought out with MANY convenient pockets for holding your phone, glasses etc. The problem is the textures of ALL plastis surfaces within the interior and most on the exterior. The textures tend to CAPTURE all types of dirt. Sadly this textures holds onto whatever has soiled it and is CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE to clean. It is HORRIBLE and so badly thought out. If not bad enough, this texture/plastic also marks easily... marks can not be removed and become permanent. I was so happy when my FORD MAVERICK arrived but sadly, I fear the interior will look 20 years old in 6 months. This ridiculous feature robs my happiness as I think I'll need to only drive the vehicle while wearing flannel pajamas, felt slippers and knitting gloves... of coursethat only matters if you care about the look of your vehicle.Respectfully,Craig ShanklesDisappointmented

We ordered a Maverick hybrid from out of state. James was very helpful, courteous and diligent. The process went very smoothly and we were kept informed of the progress and the information we needed to supply. Once the vehicle was on the Sunrise Ford lot, dealer checks were promptly made and the vehicle was shipped to us without delay. Thanks so much, James! Other Sunshine Ford team members also contributed to the process. When there were questions about paperwork, Raul in Finance was also prompt, informative and helpful. Overall, our experience with Sunshine Ford was extremely positive. We have our vehicle and are very satisfied with it and the process leading up to us receiving it.Also, a note about the delivery service (outsourced): The vehicle came quickly, and the driver, Sergi, kept us informed throughout the delivery (from Florida to Idaho).
