My family went to receive our flu vaccine today at CVS pharmacy in Target. We registered and then I confirmed with the cashier at the register that we had checked in. When the cashier told the pharmacist that we were there, she said right away in a gruff voice, “They have to wait a few minutes.” We waited patiently and were then told by the pharmacist that we had to wear a mask for her protection. Masks are no longer mandated . Why do I have to wear a mask? She huffed and basically said that if I didn’t want to wear the mask, that she would not give me the immunization. I will NEVER go back to this pharmacy again. She didn’t even come out from behind her counter. When I asked her why we had to wear the masks, she said “so I don’t catch COVID from you.” I told her that we did not have any symptoms and did not have Covid. She went on to tell me about silent symptoms. I found her to be totally unprofessional and rude. Save yourself some aggravation. Don’t go there and get vaccinated.

It was my first time dealing with the pharmacy and they were all amazing! From the ladies behind the counter to the pharmacist, they took care of all the problems I was having! Amazing group of people!

Terrible. Had me on hold not once but 3 times and after waiting a minimum of 10 each time got hung up on. Called back and got the front customer support area and said they probably hung up on you because they are on break and don't like to be bothered.

The pharmacy staff at CVS Target in Newburgh NY #17164 is awesome! I never want to go anywhere else. Give them all a raise! They deserve it!

I am a faithful member and love CVS pharmacy especially store 17164 and the head pharmacist Anastasia is amazing and super helpful always. But on 11/16/22 at 7:00pm I head to pick up my sons medication after calling and the automated system stated it was in process; and the pharmacist name Jude tells me that my son’s medication is on back order and makes me say the type of medication out loud while others were there which is super embarrassing. I asked him why hast anyone called me after it was put in by his doctor a week ago and he stated that “it’s my job to call and speak to someone and ask not his”. Aside from being embarrassed and spoken to like an animal. I simply told him I did and the automated machine explained the process it was in and that’s what I went by as I usually do if something is wrong or delayed I usually get a call from the pharmacy and also explained the delicacy of my sons medication and negative outbursts when his not on them and urgently needing them in which he shrugged his shoulders and walked away!. Today 11/17/22 I go back in to speak with a manager and thankfully Anastasia was in and explained what happened and seeing if there is something I could do and she was shocked and told me that she had my sons medication prepared and ready and apologized to me; in which is not her fault nor felt she needed to apologize on her colleagues behalf. If it wasn’t for Anastasia please believe that this matter would of been high up in corporate hands and in process of a legal proceeding for discriminatory behavior and careless negligence to put a minors health at risk like Mr Jude did. CVS is a great pharmacy and does not need people like him endangering peoples health just because of bias and pure laziness of his part. Please remove him as soon as possible. Thank you

After being told to wait for my prescription, which I had no problem doing for 20min. I was then called over \\u0026 advised oh we are closing now come back instead after 2pm. I get you need your break but maybe have respect for my time the same way you expect me to respect yours. Instead of saying wait it’ll be done shortly, maybe acknowledge that isnt going to happen \\u0026 advise me sooner. I stopped using this pharmacy for a reason \\u0026 I will once again take my business elsewhere!

Nah. Don’t get your shots here. They seat you to the left of the register and call your name to the right of the register with out checking. Was sitting there 30 min instead of 15.

I have only used this pharmacy 3 times and on 2 of those interactions I was waited on by one of the representatives named Angela. She was rude, and condescending. I would not recommend using CVS Pharmacy at Target in Newburgh to anyone.

This is a great pharmacy to use. The only downfall is that they're closed on Sundays. The entire staff; pharmacists, techs, cashiers are helpful, respectful, and friendly. They spent alot of time working to get ahold of my doctor, which is literally impossible, to make sure he sent in my prior auth for a prescription. I am very grateful for their outstanding service.
