Quality stuff but the service sucks. I was in line for 20 minutes waiting to pick up a photo and not once did the lady ask if i needed help, i asked her if my pictures were done and she ignored me. She didn't ask me nor pay attention to me until the manager came over. They really need to evaluate their workers. ridiculous!

If you have a disability listen up!! If you have any back and/or bending over issues listen up!! If you tend to use a shopping cart to lean on while in stores shopping listen up!! If you have trouble lifting listen up!! Today I went in to Walgreens on North Plank Rd in the Town of Newburgh and they do not have shopping carts for customers. I asked someone and they mentioned they only have "one" shopping cart & it was in use. They claimed that people have stolen all their carts. They have ordered new ones and they're still waiting on them. What it offered is a hand basket type item. It has wheels and a long handle and you roll it on the ground. I had to literally bend over to place items into the basket & then pick up the basket at the register. This rolling basket situation is definitely not suitable for many disabled customers. It's pretty disappointing. ***Use caution if using them as it is also a tripping hazard.

I had an appointment today (10/04) at 10:45 am for a flu shot. I ended up waiting 45 minutes before they took me in to give me my vaccine. I was the only one sitting waiting for any kind of vaccine. There were two pharmacy technicians snd two pharmacists. There was no excuse for me to have waited that long. Inexcusable. Why give out appointments if Walgreens is not honoring them.

I made a flu shot appointment for 10:00am and 10:15am. Unfortunately, I was told I had to wait and that appointments are hard to go by since it depends on if the pharmacist on duty is available. I decided to wait. All my insurance information was taken down, I made out the forms, got my temperature taken. All waiting to see the pharmacist. My issue came up when I 'overheard' the pharmacist say throughout the room to her technicians and looking over at us waiting "I'm not taking that one because she is coughing." The technician asked me to the window and told me again, "because of your coughing" the pharmacist will not take you. That was the professional evaluation given, not only announced across the room so others could not (obviously the HIPAA law do not apply here), I was not given the professional of a pharmacist to talk to me directly and privately. If it was done that way, they would hear me say as I did to the technician, I drink a protein shake every morning with milk, and I always cough. Being a woman with asthma, coughing is part of my life. That information was also on the form I filled out (as far as having asthma). I left the area very angry, and told the technician that, and announced back to the pharmacist my feelings. No screaming, but definitely shocked was being demonstrated by me. I wait almost an hour to be told, no. The unprofessionalism of this pharmacist is unbelievable!!! I spoke with the woman who I believe is the head of this store, and she told me she would talk with the pharmacist and her manager on this situation. Everywhere we are being told (especially people with chronic issues) to get the flu shot. Since many of the primary care doctors are not doing it at this time, we are using these places to get them done. If this is how a person is treated, I'll just go without it. I will not be going to Walgreens on 82 N Plank Road in Newburgh, NY again!

Second rude encounter with Pharmacy Manager Victor Ortiz and Employee Bradley. Reporting them again to Corporate. The Pharmacist clearly has no regard for the Code Of Conduct. I will file a formal complaint this time with NY State Attorney Generals Office! Insults and mocks a patient/customer...just wretched!!!

Went to fill my dogs prescription who is suffering from a failing trachea and a heart murmur. I was told I had to wait until the next day because of some law. Ok. I come in the next day to fill out the prescription that has two refills and when I get home I see no refills. I call up the pharmacy to inquire and a pharmacy tech name "Greg" tells me it's a controlled substance so it's against the law for the dr to right more refills. I said Ok. But why do I have to call Walgreens to ask this. Why wouldn't the pharmacy explain this when filling the prescription to avoid any future issues. The pharmacy tech tells me. "Well you're going to have to call your vet and get another prescription". I asked to speak to the pharmacist as clearly he has lost my trust. As I speak to the pharmacist she tells me the same thing. I said to her what I'm really trying to understand is your practice of not informing customers of these very important details. Her response was that Walgreens is a very busy store. Which was surprising as the 8 times I've been there I've only ever had to wait for one person. Clearly, they are not capable of communicating information unless you ask them specifically. The pharmacy tech appeared to be bothered with my questions and just wanted me off the phone. Customer service rates them a zero. Off to find a pharmacist that understand the importance of communication and customer service. Will edit this once I find a place so I can share with those who care about details.

My negative review is in regards to the pharmacy staff, Lorna (one of the "Pharmacists") standing out as one of the rudest, most obnoxious, uncommunicative, smug, arrogant, disrespectful, judgemental, "professionals" in a "supervising" position that I have ever dealt with. From day one, (ike she's untouchable/proud of herself, she abuses what "authority" she thinks she has), she openly goes out of her way to express/make her personal prejudices know and, in turn, then makes picking up your medications (the ones she has her negative personal opinions about) as inconvenient as possible. She is verbally unprofessional to customers in front of other customers (as well as on the phone) and also in front of her own managers, who do/say absolutely nothing to reprimand her behavior. As other reviewers have indicated, I have also filed complaints with corporate management, received the standard emails that they are "concerned" and will personally contact me within a certain timeframe - I'm still waiting. Lorna is an all-around embarrassment to this pharmacy, and to compassionate pharmacists in general, and now that I've watched her disturbing behavior be allowed to continue for as long as it has, it is my opinion that she is an excellent example of how (large, corporate) companies MUST hire certain "individuals" or face discrimination accusations because why else would she still not only be employed there, but why would her direct manager, Victor, openly appear so afraid of her, why is she still claiming she is allowed to use her "personal judgement" at will, why she is still openly insulting customers, rolling her eyes & making childish overblown gestures in what should be a professional, public setting and why is she still getting away with it. Walgreens has shown themselves to be unaccommodating, unresponsive and indifferent to customer concerns/complaints and/or not willing to address negative feedback. Bring back the Mom & Pop pharmacies that treated their customers with respect, when Pharmacist's displayed self-pride, integrity & compassion and the willingness to provide excellent customer service and respect people's right to privacy. Walgreens seems to think that it is ok that their customers should have to cater to their Pharmacist's inflated ego or jump through unnecessary hoops just to pick up their medications...

A good local store. It's always clean and well stocked. Waiting to pay is always an issue. Always understaffed. That's keeps it from 5 stars
