Just over a year ago, while on a short road trip from NYC to Montreal with my family, we were involved in an accident on the Taconic Parkway near Poughkeepsie that rendered our car undriveable. With seven people and a significant amount of luggage, we urgently needed a rental car, preferably a large SUV or minivan, to continue our journey.Despite contacting nearly 20 Enterprise locations near Poughkeepsie, we were disheartened to find that none of them had a suitable vehicle available given that it was Veterans Day weekend.
