If, I could give 0 stars I would. Today, I went to purchase a few packs of braiding hair and accessories. I noticed small items were pushed aside, on the counter near the cashier. I didn't think anything of it. I paid for my big items and accessories I put on the counter. Shortly after, I returned to the store to get another pack of braiding hair and another pack of accessories. I noticed my weaving thread was on the side with the other items. I said to the guy, that looks like it's my thread you didn't put it in the bag. He said, yes it's yours. The beads was the other items was apart of my initial accessories that I paid for, he didn't put it in the bag. When I said I was looking to purchase the same identical beads, he looked on the counter to get the original beads I paid for to seem like he restocked the shelf. Then, I called the store, the person that answered the phone was unreasonable, being dismissive of an item I paid for. I will never shop here again. They are restocking yr paid items acting like they forget to pack all of yr paid items..So, unethical. That's why the other small items were to the side. Dishonest individuals at the expense of paying customers, this is unacceptable..

I bought butterfly locs and the hair to wrap around to cover my actual hair. The hair is pretty expensive for how much is in each pact and how thin the loc is. When I finished doing my hair, I went to shower, and that's when I started to get rashes on my arms and face. My scalp was itchy, and I started scratching like crazy. It hurt. At first, I thought I ate something I was allergic to or used soap that didn't work for me. But, the only change that happened was my hair. Then I realized the ends of the butterfly locs became wet when I showered, and the wet locs kept touching my face and dripping water on my arms. The hairstyle looks cute and all, but my face and arms hurt.

Had me sitting outside of the store well past 9:15 when they said they open at 9. No one there, lights off, no sign that says they're closed. Unprofessional!

I love shopping in a place where you feel valued and respected, and Beauty Works do to all their prospective buyers. Upon entering, I am always greeted well by staff, and it inspires me to make a purchase. It is a 7 day a week operation with late closing, which makes it quite convenient. Their hair products are broad and culturally diverse. I highly recommend this beauty store.

Not overstuffed and claustrophobic like another business. Aunty was helpful but not to the point where I felt I was being watched. Beautiful array of all types of hair and products found what I was looking for and even recieved a discount! BRAVO!

I love going into Esters. They are friendly, helpful and made me feel quite confident. Their prices are great. They do not follow you all over the store like their competitor B&V across the street from them Thank you Ester for your service to me.
