All hud housing needs to be regulated better. Renting is a privilege. A lack of respect for property=loss of renting privileges! Regulation the key!

My boyfriend and I had been waiting for an apartment for a little over a year, we finally got a call for a 3 bedroom townhouse, walked it and accepted it. We were told they were renovating it and that it might be about a month till the townhouse was complete. Towards the end of waiting a month for the renovations, we received an email stating that the renovation would take longer as the materials were not ordered yet and that they were now unsure of when the renovation would be completed. Fortunately they had a 2 bedroom townhouse available and we decided to take a look at it and changed from the three bedroom to the two bedroom. I had paid the security deposit on Friday and found out the following Tuesday that my cars motor might be blown and the mechanic was unsure of when the car might be fixed. Due to possible financial issues, we immediately emailed (Tuesday before 5pm) letting them know we were no longer going to be moving in and to cancel the move in for Wednesday. They claimed the security deposit could not be refunded due to it being longer than 3 days from when I paid the security deposit to the cancelation. Friday to Tuesday is 3 business days so I emailed the corporate office explaining the situation and asking for the refund of the security deposit. It has now been a little over a week from when I sent corporate the request and have received no email back. This company is unprofessional and has withheld a security deposit for no apparent reason. Please steer clear from this company, for it this is how we were treated before even moving anything into the apartment then I would hate to see how living there actually is.

The office staff is friendly, knows all residents by name which is impressive. They are quick to response to any questions or concern we have in a kind professional manner.

I have had A very positive experience at wood hill. The rental agents are very professional and compassionate When dealing with renters and problems. The maintenance crew has helped me out several times this past Winter and were considerate, professional, and respectful. There is a very good crew of workers at this location and they should Be Congratulated on their hard work and dedication.

The management doesn't maintain the interior properties very well at all. A lot of b.s. from the front desk. The dishwasher has never worked properly in the 9 years I've lived here... thankfully I wouldn't use it anyway, but I'm still presumably paying for it. The refrigerator has actual rust on it. A lot of rust and it was already rusted when I moved in. The hood over the range throws baked and broken shards of plastic down on my cooking food...but they say it still spins so it's fine. They no longer use fluorescent light fixtures and bulbs on the property supposedly... except for mine. I was promised new countertops with a new sink. I did get the sink because the old/still in place countertop was rotting out from underneath the sink. So they replaced the sink but not the counter top which was the problem in the first place...This is only the kitchen so far and I'm not even done ...Don't blame the maintenance guys, they are poorly paid and can only do as much as the company/owner allots for. We've even been paying extra $ added to our leases because the buildings and grounds are leaking water and they don't correct it, they just pass it along.Look...live here if you can't find better. Just be prepared to settle for whatever they manage for you and your family.

Tried to live at wood hill the place was a joke for the price. We had water seep from the walls where there was no window. They amended there contract to the point of no human rights. Mold old carpets no dead bolt on main door maintenance came in any time they felt like. Our town house had a major fault cracked from floor to roof. Management needs to be fired. It was a living hell at wood hill. They threatened us to sue us for posting a honest review.

The maintenance manager Christine is a lying, verbally, mentally emotionally abusive rag who causes stress and trauma to those who don't treat her like the all mighty. She tells so many lies that she can't remember which person she told which lie to. As a result in the course of one day I was told 4 different lies about the same one thing. The housing is nice. The grounds are well kept. But Christine needs to be fired before someone sues the company.

Love this place , my children are so in love with the pool and play ground we go almost everyday lol.I don’t know why there are negative reviews I’ve been living here for almost 3 months and I can already tell I want to be here for years. Great townhomes , beautiful patios . I just love it here they truly make you feel at home.

This place is a prison! You pay almost 900 in rent and you're not allowed to do anything in your own apartment.....they dont allow you to choose your own curtains even....cant open the windows....what an uncomfortable place to be living!!!!

Not sure why the other reviews are so negative. I have lived here for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it. They are very welcoming and professional. I saw a review about the curtains situation and that is not true. They just don’t want flags, or other objects in the windows. Solids color and patterns are accepted for curtains. I have neutral-color patterned curtains and they are not an issue. I also have had the windows open when it was warmer out and was never told that was bad. Even had my screen fixed with no issue by maintenance! This place is beautiful and I’m in love with our apartment. Also so happy that they allow my cat to be here. It’s so hard to find places that accept pets. We have a dishwasher which is amazing and also a thermostat that we can control with central air. No complaints here!! Best apartment I’ve had!
