Back a few months ago I inquired about getting fuel oil from the Newark location. I filled out the app and waited for them to run my credit. Hearing anything back from them was taking too long so I decided to go with another company (it was over a couple weeks I waited). Once I established with this other company I called Hometown to ask if they already ran my credit, the answer was no and that they would destroy my app which had confidential information on it. I frequently check my credit and of course they did a hard inquiry after the fact! Not happy about this at all!!!

My wife and I were out visiting my in-laws with temperatures in the mid-90s. Their central air was not working. My in-laws have used Hometowne Energy for years and always had good experiences. I witnessed their fast, efficient service when the technician, Christopher arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair. Not only is Christopher qualified, but he is a very professional, nice individual to have in one's home. Great company and excellent service!

I have never had a problem with Hometown Energy. They have always responded with any issue I may have had. They are always kind, courteous, and informative when I have questions. Drivers are always respectful. I would recommend Hometown to anyone.
