Aisle blocked with boxes so could not reach merchandise. Front door with cracked glass. Hours will be more limited effective February 29, 2024.

They helped me nicely after my below experience with CVS:During my visit today, the CVS pharmacy refused to provide me with COVID test kits covered by my insurance. The person at the counter insisted I call my insurance to confirm coverage. Despite my assurance that my insurance typically covers this, she claimed there had been a policy change and didn't even verify my insurance type. This occurred while I, as a person with ADA requirements, was standing by the ADA sign seeking assistance. Even if I weren't an ADA person, they should have checked their system. This is entirely unacceptable, and I'm prepared to escalate this issue to higher authorities at this branch. In contrast, I visited a Walgreens just a block away, where they efficiently assisted me without unnecessary questioning.

Very convenient - it opens 24/7. However, they have a lack of stock (for example, few makeup shades displayed). The location is great though, next to the 51st subway stop

Been using this pharmacy for 7+ years. Don't really care for DR stores in general, but this specific branch (51st & Lex) has the absolute BEST PHARMACY STAFF, helpful, attentive, informative. The Pharmacist actually remembers who you are and your concerns/situation. Always impressed by that.Will continue to use them in the future.

No one knew where the tiny tissue packs were. I went to 3 different isle bc 3 different employees said they were “here, there”. Goose chase to not find it. I just left bro so incompetent

I will start of by saying I go to this location a lot since I work next to it but today was the first unprofessional interaction. The beauty care manager who I never seen before came up to me to “help “ when she saw me trying to figure what nails to buy . she was really close and spoke to me and I said okay this is weird but I will come back for them. I shopped a bit and finally decided to get them I looked for the button to call someone & I guess I looked weird with my dark green hair looking around because she appears & looks me up and down, checks out my basket with a judging look so I tell her I want the black nails and extra glue because I don’t know what I’m doing … not even a side smile okay fine I’m weird sometimes. As I’m walking to go to check out she does a fast little walk beside me to give you guys a little detail the door is close to the registers. She gets next to me and asks me if I want to check out and I laugh & I’m like ma’am I come here everyday I’m not stealing anything. She gets a bit embarrassed and tells me her title and that she provides this care to everyone who walks in to get a sale and that she provides samples. I tell her oh that’s interesting. She begins to say she didn’t think I was stealing. Fast forward she is making awkward small talk and one of my items didn’t have a barcode so I ran to get a new one but As I’m walking back she is opening one of my other items. I was annoyed & opted out of buying the item. She stated she thought it was cute once more I was like okay I don’t want it this went on for a few she even asked if I wanted the store card to afford the item she opened after a final no. I have enough cards We exchange pleasantries …awkwardly & I headed out with my items. There were no samples or anything just a sadden mood and confusing. I know she probably feels very accomplished she stopped a “crime “ from happening.

Did not receive a printed receipt since our default apparently is digital (even though was asked for a printed receipt). Manager asked us to wait for 15+ minutes at 11 PM on a Friday night and no receipt yet (needed for FSA reimbursement). Would not recommend this location - overpriced items. On the plus side, there is a security guard that keeps good watch.

In general they're very, very good. Today, however, I booked an appointment for a flu shot. The website indicated no appointments were scheduled for the day. After waiting 20 mins in line (arrived 20 mins prior to appt) I was told I'd have to wait 20 mins and there were two people ahead of me. In additional they seemed to ask for the same info I'd provided online Annoying.
