The worst customer service I’ve experienced.

No post office in NYC is perfect, but Cooper Station, our local PO has been very proactive in solving any issues with shipping, etc over the years. The ladies at windows, carriers, and Omar the manager have been very helpful. Thanks!

I have had multiple packages lost by them, and when I went in each time I had someone on their phone barely paying attention to me after immediately being rude because I was looking for a package. Each person I have dealt with so far has been very unhelpful, rude, and uncaring. Each question I have is met with a rude and snarky response. Every time I leave this post office nothing is resolved and I feel upset.

The lovely woman at the counter was very busy on her cell phone then told me she doesn't get paid enough to deal with my lost package. They can't keep track of a single package and will "lose" your prescription medication or any other package they don't feel like delivering.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. All front line employees need to get fired. I’m assuming the middle management, as well, given that they allow employees to act the way they do.Rude, belittling, hostile, antisocial behavior every single time I have stepped foot in there. It’s been over 10 years and I finally had to write something. The worst is that they’re mostly Caribbean women (I’m Caribbean too) so it makes absolutely no sense to me!!!!

Zesty manager guy won’t take packages off you even after waiting in line. Points you to the self check out kiosk and makes you do it yourself after waiting in line. Also tells his staff to do the same and one of them told me she didn’t have time to take the package off my hands after i waited in like to be helped. Terrible customer service from the Zesty manager and his employee. Would highly recommend going to any other post office besides this one till they get new management or employees.

I will never understand why it is so difficult for this post office to perform even their basic duties or take a modicum of pride in their jobs. We have informed delivery which shows us the mail we should be receiving every day. I'm writing this on a Thursday and we haven't received our mail since last Saturday. Today we received a package - still no mail - and it was left outside of the locked door and they didn't even ring our apartment. I'd love to know where I can get a job where I don't have to perform it each day and, when I do, can do the least amount of work possible. Oh, the post office!

Brenda, with the short red hair, called me "lazy" today to her coworker while I was standing right there for using a label maker to label my mail. When I called her out for it, she asked me if I "missed my therapy appointment today." Got her supervisor who said there were "two sides to every story" as if it is ever justified to talk that way to a customer (or anyone) who did nothing to you. Complained he was in the middle of a meeting as if it is my fault Brenda insulted me and projected her need for therapy. Seriously wild a government employee can just randomly insult people like that. Can't imagine how sad Brenda's personal life must be to act that way

hands down the worst post office ever. I swear to god this place is one of the 9 layers of hell. The supervisor on the upper floor is one of the most incompetent people I've ever met. The ground floor supervisor is also super condescending when trying to explain any issue and talks over you and sighs and damn near rolls his eyes when you're finally able to get a few words in. He needs to get a grip or get a different job because what the hell is in the water over there that makes them so damn rude from the very start of a conversation.Good luck ever getting your mail or packages delivered or getting anything resolved if you ever have an issue.

To eliminate any room for human error and streamline the process, I hand delivered a cashiers check to my landlord’s P.O. Box at this post office, even getting a certificate of mail. Somehow in the short time/distance between me handing the employee behind the counter my envelope to her dropping it off in the correct box, my check has vanished. My landlord never received my rent and unfortunately no one who works here is capable of answering a phone. In fact, after listening to the entire automated message, the phone rings and rings, eventually switching to the classic busy tone. Incredible. Think it’ll be any better in person?Where the f is my mail? Unacceptable.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I ship like 10 packages a week with USPS and have never had an issue with this location. There’s a bunch of self service kiosks so I don’t actually need to line up sometimes!

I’ve maintained a PO Box at Cooper Station for many years and would be absolutely heartbroken if they ever closed. I have a deep connection to this Post Office & especially adore Paula who is extraordinary. She is someone who is really the essence of service, giving from her heart…the kind of person we wish anyone in a service position would be like. I hope she knows how appreciated she is!!!

Cooper Square Postal Greeter, Paula is friendly and always very helpful when one has a question or which forms to fill out ! She also goes beyond and above assisting all customers with different requests ! It’s always a pleasure to see Paula, she gets the lines moving, assist with all correct forms, assisting at the kiosks, helping people filling out forms and assisting with people that needs passports forms! She’s always busy, assisting with a big smile ! Paula has a great personality and all of the Greenwich Village community, families + friends appreciates her graciousness when you enter Cooper Square Postal Station 10003 ! She’s the “ Best “, next time when you visit definitely introduce yourself to her ! She’s amazing, always puts a smile on my face when I leave ! All the very best and good wishes Paula !!

I ran to the reviews after having the most horrendous customer service experience here. The first person I spoke to was fine, but she directed me to the supervisor who was actually the rudest person I've ever interacted with. I work in the service industry and I've never had a customer treat me like that. I'm never coming back here and they still didn't help me find my lost package.
