Don’t waste your time! Had a horrible experience with the notary yesterday who according to other reviews is also the manager (older Indian man). This man doesn’t understand his role as a notary. I went in there to get my signature notarized for some car insurance claim paperwork and he asked for proof of car ownership. Like WHAT? I didn’t have it on me. I explained he is not notarizing my ownership, my insurance knows my name owns the car, I’m already their customer for goodness sake smh, they don’t contest or require proof of that. What the insurance needs you to verify, ie notarize, is that I, the physical person in front of you, IS THAT NAME I’m claiming to be & signing on these docs. They already have on file that my name is owner of the car. I couldn’t show him the title and registration he was requesting because for one, I didn’t bring them, as THEY ARE NOT NEEDED, and two, the document was for my STOLEN vehicle. I physically don’t have them. Despite his overkill request, I even offered to show him the registration online from the DMV website, an OFFICIAL GOVT SITE and he REFUSED. Stating he needs physical documents. I called my insurance right there on the spot and they said the same thing I said! I walked out of there Googled an actual notary, and guess what? GOT MY DOCUMENT NOTARIZED. SMH. This man is just incompetent, bitter, and angry— offering the customers that walk in there nothing but the company of his misery. If only he knew how he made my bad day worse. I walked out & began to cry on the phone to my claim adjuster. You would think a legitimate business like UPS would actually reprimand this man after multiple poor reviews but they have completely dropped the ball here. Do something UPS! I implore you.

Required a box and was told my package needed a made to order box. I opted for that and allowed them to pack it for me. After waiting a hour I found the made to order box was merely a in stock box cut down and the contents were rattling around. NEVER AGAIN at the UPS store.

Absolutely horrible customer serviceI walked into this location on 11/02/23 with 2 heavy boxes loaded on to a hand truck to drop off an Amazon return. The manager clearly irritated told me I would have to lift each box and place on the counter to be weighed. The manager nor the other two Men offered me any assistance while watching me struggle to lift the first box. Another woman behind me in line had to come to my aid and voice to the three men “ three men in here and no one could lend the lady a hand? You’re just going to watch her struggle?” Finally the manager said I could just place the boxes against the counter. Disgustingly I know had another customer not been there all three male employees would have watched me injure myself to lift a 70lb box onto a waist high countertop. Afterwards the manager claimed there was an issue with my scan code and told me I would have to place both items in one box that I could buy from them for $40. I have never been treated so cruelly by a group of men and at an establishment that claims to pride themselves on customer service.

It's a very convenient location, nearby where I live. There are usually no lines where I have to wait. And dropping off packages is a very quick, easy and smooth process.

As many other reviewers have said, the Indian manager has a terrible attitude, he's rude, unhelpful and doesn't even give eye contact when you are talking to him. I notice that the owner has responded to many similar complaints by encouraging customers to write an email to them. Can I make a suggestion? Instead of telling us to email you, how about speaking to your manager about these issues, or better yet, replacing him with a manager who has good customer service skills and who actually cares?

They have poor customer service. Only made one attempt to deliver my package, they could have brought to my door. Instead they left a sticky note. Then I rescheduled for redelivery and called the next day. I was told my package will be delivered Monday. Monday comes no delivery, so I spoke with a representative. Told me they didn't put it in the system to be redelivered SMH. Now I have to go in person, on the last pick up date SMH. Bad communication skills.

Any time i visit this location I am provided the best service. They are in a popular location and can get busy, but this is completely normal for any UPS in manhattan. Special shout out to Mike!!!!

Had an awful experience trying to get something notarized a few weeks back. I emailed the store detailing my experience and no one got back to me. Avoid this UPS location at all cost.

I went to them on July 22 2023 and I had a great experience he was very helpful and informative it was my first time having to return something through ups drop off and he made the transaction easy and smooth so thank you for that great first experience using the ups store

Unhelpful. Tried to charge me to print a label to send somebody else box that they mistakenly sent me. Instead he told me to go ahead and throw it in the garbage. So I left it in the store. Let him throw it in the garbage.

I have most of my packages delivered to the UPS store on 116th Street. Mike Lee who is an associate there is knowledgeable, courtesy and friendly. Really nice guy!
