ERICA!!!!!! I swear she was hands down the reason I'm coming back for real. Her class for the first time really had me rethinking life. 1st, I was like hmmmm this might be easy. I have done pilates and soul cycle, so lifting a little weights a BREEZE. Sykeeeee, this was a beginners intense class for glutes & quads. I did squat thrust 95lbs, I might say, and was very PROUD of myself. Overall, Erica, THANK YOU!! The fire on me today pushed me to book again lol.Noble, you are a true gem to the trooper facility from the moment you greeted me when I finished the class. I appreciate you for the tour also. The facility is located on the 2nd floor, so you ring the bell and enter the glass door, not the black door. Showers, bathrooms, and lockers are available. The gym is super clean, and trust me, you gonna need to sit, lol.

I absolutely love Trooper Fitness. When I started at Trooper 5 months ago, my only goal was to get in better physical shape. I remember one of my first classes where Prince said something along the lines of this isn't just about physical health, it's about mental perseverance. I definitely rolled my eyes thinking, I'm just here to work out. Prince was 1000% right though. Not only have I gotten physically stronger, my mental health has improved. I look forward to my morning workouts and although I'm dying all throughout, I feel amazing after. There virtual classes are perfect for someone like me who has so much going on. Being able to still dedicate time to do this for myself makes all the difference. I can't say enough about Trooper Fitness but in short, their classes are just the right amount of challenging, they're affordable and you truly become part of a community.

I relocated back to NYC in February and had to come back home to Trooper Fitness! We have a bigger and brighter location on the 2nd floor that is amazing. Trooper offers small group classes where you can focus on specific body areas like upper or lower body or if you need to increase endurance or hit full body they got that too. If you never stepped in a gym or strength trained it doesn’t matter because Trooper Coaches are there helping you through each movement, figuring out what weight works best for you, giving more weight to the tenure members even though we didn’t ask and somehow we are able to lift it with the help of Trooper magic. Trooper is different than any gym because we truly are a supportive community of each other. We plan our workouts around each other’s schedules so we can not only workout but cheer each other on when we hit our milestones. I built really great friendships that helped me through really tough times in my life and I will always be grateful for my Trooper family!It doesn’t matter what your fitness level is (if you can hold a small car over your head or if climbing subway stairs takes your breath away) this is the gym to try! If you’re nervous and need a friend to join you in your first class, let them know Stacie invited you and I’ll workout with you. WE GOT YOU!!!

As a true beginner who does not know their way around a gym, I had a great experience at Trooper Fitness. They have encouraging coaches, a welcoming atmosphere and challenging workouts. Convenient midtown location makes it easy to work through some post-work frustration before heading home.

I was very much a gym newbie when I first started at Trooper and a little intimidated by joining a gym like this but the community is absolutely incredible. The trainers are very down to earth and ready to help everyone reach their goals regardless of where they are in their journeys. I was hooked after just a few classes and haven’t looked back - this place keeps me motivated to keep getting stronger.

Incredible. My favorite gym in the city. And it will be yours too.Say goodbye to waiting in the gym for a squat rack to open. Ditch that weird feeling you get not knowing what exercises to do. Stop following fad instagram workouts and unqualified trainers. Start to get strong(er) by ditching all of that b.s. and going to Trooper.I originally came to Trooper back in 2017/2018 and loved it, During those years i was in the best shape of my life! During my 5 year gap I've done everything in-between, from Peloton to Beach Body and honestly nothing compares to the quality of workouts you receive when you step into Trooper!Don't be intimidated or think this is just a place where you have to lift crazy heavy weight to enter, its not. The classes are small enough for the coaches to keep an eye on each participant and they help you along the way with form and modifications. I have also never met a negative person in class. Everyone is there to get better! Everyone works as a team, you can be at the same squat rack with someone pulling or pushing more weight than you and feel no egos or judgement. Everyone just helps reset the bar for you when its your turn. This is the most motivational space I've ever been in!They also offer bootcamp, metcon and cardiocon classes. If you're looking for a true a$$ kicking with the BEST trainers in NYC, sign up!

I've been going to Trooper for over 1.5 years now. I've gone to over 230 sessions -- which in and of itself is a HUGE testament to the power and support of the Trooper fitness staff and community. Prior to coming to Trooper I had never been successful in having a long-term engagement with any gym or fitness program. I'd dabbled in running here and there, but never really saw the results and never felt like I was much of a "fitness person". For the most part, I felt like my body was just something that I used to carry my brain around.Coming to Trooper radically changed that.When I first joined, I was shocked by the intensity of the programs. Literally, the warm-ups alone got me feeling exhausted. But because of the support and motivation of the coaches, I stuck with it. Gradually I started to see my endurance pick-up and my strength along with it. Within a few months, I was clearly seeing the changes in my physical strength, energy, and self-perception. Now having come for over a year, Trooper is very much part of my regular daily routine and my wife says: "I work out too much." (Which would be crazy for me to imagine anyone telling me two years ago.)I can't say enough positive things about Trooper.If you're a first-timer who might be intimidated by weight training or who has had bad experiences in other gyms (I for one have tried cross-fit and other boutique gyms in the city and often been burned) -- you'll find the Trooper coaches and community to be super supportive. Every class *feels* like a small one and you truly get personalized attention.If you're an experienced lifter or someone who is looking for a challenge, the coaches will find ways to push you. I've never once seen or heard anyone come out of a Trooper class and shrug it off. Every class pushes you to get to the next level.Seriously. Give it a try! You won't regret it.

Trooper fitness is a lifestyle. Words can’t describe the dedication and passion that each of the coaches embody every time you’re in their presence. It’s beyond the physical with Trooper they focus on the individuals mental that will allow them to build the physical. It’s honestly a family environment that Prince and Jen have created and it’s a blessing to be apart of. I recommend that if you are looking for some place to come and work out and get your money worth Trooper Fitness is the place, I haven’t experienced a better gym environment that makes me keep coming back beaten after beaten. Equinox, Planet Fitness, NYSC none of these gyms come in close to Trooper.

Almost two years ago, I made the best investment in my physical and mental health by becoming a Trooper member. This is not just a gym, this is a supportive/real/vibrant community committed to bringing out the greatness and light within each of us. It truly takes a village and this has been mine. I am constantly impressed by the owners Jen and Prince, and the Trooper team. They are committed to their personal development and it shows in the programming, social gatherings, SUPPORT, unparalleled (and I am speaking from over 15 years in the fitness and wellness world). Get out of your comfort zone, be open and give this place at least a month of your life. I believe in you!

Trooper Fitness is great! I joined after trying out few other fitness facilities in the area and it's hands down the best facility that offers group fitness and strength training. I find my fitness journey is more sustainable because of the encouraging coaches. The strength and conditioningclasses are supper effective and makes you sweat every single workout. It was here where I reached my fitness goal of losing weight and becoming stronger.

Upon relocating to NYC, I was in search of a phenomenal gym. After trying multiple gyms, a friend told me about Trooper Fitness. From Day 1; I was not only throughly impressed by the variety of classes, the staff made me feel like family! Each of the coaches takes their time to demonstrate the movements, and pays close attention to your form. This was critical for me due to prior injuries and the coaches were extremely attentive, even providing modifications to mitigate injury recurrence. They bring positive energy and encourage you every step of the way! If you too are in search of a gym that treats you like family, motivates and encourages you every step of the way; then look no further than Trooper Fitness. I promise you won’t be disappointed and will make Trooper Fitness your permanent home!

Trooper Fitness is the best gym in NYC. I used to shy away from lifting weights because I felt weak and incompetent but from the moment I stepped into Trooper, I felt welcome and supported.One of my favorite things is people of all ages, backgrounds, strength levels come together to push ourselves, get stronger, both physically and mentally. The programming at Trooper is consistent. The coaches are knowledgeable, considerate but push me out of my comfort zone.I am so grateful for such a wonderful community. Hands down Trooper Fitness is the best gym around! All of the trainers are very motivating and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at. Challenging yet fun classes that will push you to reach your goals. The facility and equipment are also very well maintained.

Trooper fitness is truly one of the best gym/group classes in the city. All the coaches are very personable and great at what they do. The classes are very energetic and inclusive no matter where you are in your training. I think that is what makes Trooper/all the coaches different from other gyms. They genuinely take the time to help whether you are a newbie or an expert. The coaches sincerely push you the right amount to get the best out of that hour or 2 you are with them. I would highly recommend Trooper fitness no matter what part of your training journey you are at. I know I was hesitant at first but once I started, now I can’t stop. It is time to take your fitness to the next level and Trooper is where it is at.
