The older woman who works here is unbelievably rude to all her customers. Additionally, the prices are absurd. The card itself cost $5! Definitely the worst in the area.

Went into this store with two full loaded bags in a rainy day. The lady said it was too late to wash though there were still plenty of time for me to wash and dry all the items. The most annoying thing is while I walked in and haven’t say any word, she started to raise her voice and spoke really loud (almost yelled at me). They increased prices a lot and provided horrible services. I don’t think anger and anxiety are the first thing she should present to her customers, even in New York.

You need to buy a card to use the machines which cost $5. Then you have to load to card in bills. No singles.

Wash $6 - small load (9-10lbs) $10 - large load (11lbs +) Dryer $0.25 for 4 min. ~30 min is good for small load ~ 45 min is good for large load Not sure details about blankets, towels or anything. Pretty clean and the service is not bad. Lady is there to answer your questions, not be your bestie :) but she still helped me with everything.

Machines are clean and newish. You have to put cash on a laundry card which is annoying but manageable.

It was my first time using this kind of machine, so I asked their staff if she could teach me, she’s patient and nice. She helped me understand the whole process. It’s a really good experience here, highly recommend it.

It can be hard to understand the laundry card system at first but otherwise its a clean laundromat and the machines are nice

Went here because my normal laundromat was closed. Naturally, I show up with a bag full of quarters to use for my laundry.Machines don’t take quarters, I need to load some proprietary card. Fine. New cards cost $5, $5 that isn’t even added to the card. Card machine also doesn’t take credit or quarters, so I need to use the ATM, $3 service fee. All in all $8 gone for absolutely no reason. Now I can load money onto a card I will probably never use again and can’t use anywhere else. Another NYC scam. The only reason it gets the extra star is it is at least clean.

I love this place! Been coming here for the 7 years I have lived on the UES. Owner is always nice and helpful. Staff also. Can't understand the poor reviews. Maybe those people are just "Karens", LOL! You get what you give. Lighten up, people! Yeah, it's not cheap, but the machines do a fine job of cleaning, drying and it's NYC, people! :) The custom wash service isn't bad either. Considering other places I've been to, this gets 5 stars from me!

We've been here in NYC for a month meeting our new grandson (!!) and of course, needed our laundry done. Otherwise it would be weird. And smelly. eww. Anyway, this place is just a 1/2 block from our Airbnb and the woman that runs it couldn't have been nicer. It is extremely clean and instead of having to buy contagion laundry detergent and haul them also, which we were prepared to do - 84th has $1 'servings' of Tide (I think?) laundry detergent and Diwny. It was perfect for our needs. I don't even want to think about how much we technically paid per ounce - that wasn't the point - isn't that the cost of convenience!? haha! They also do your laundry for you at $1.50/lb and if you drop it off early she will have it done by the end of the day! Yes, we also took care of THAT convenience! It's a $5 charge if the laundry needs to be sorted, but I think that's a given. I do t want my unmentionables in the same load as my husbands jeans. Yucky. Overall, it was convenient, inexpensive from other laundromats, clean & welcoming. Starbucks is one block away and I didn't worry at all about leaving my clothes washing and totebag on top. That's important, too! We'll be back - for sure - because, you know...the smell of dirty laundry is eww.

I used to go to another laundromat closer to my home but this one has machines in better condition and the whole place looks tidy. The lady on Sunday is very helpful, sweet and bilingual.
