I had my mom's old wedding dress with those big, kinda gaudy 80s sleeves and was really biting my nails over how it would turn out. Gotta admit, I was half thinking I made a mistake promising mom I'd wear it. But Selene, oh man, she's like some kind of wizard with fabric. She reshaped those sleeves into something super chic and tweaked the waist so I felt like I stepped out of a fairytale. It was more than just a dress alteration, it felt like Selene was part of the family, making sure I looked and felt amazing. I didn't shed a tear at the wedding, but picking up the dress? That's another story.

I went to a different seamstress before Selene was recommended to me and I AM SO GLAD I chose Selene! She was great! She was able to modify a size 16 dress to make it fit PERFECTLY. Her years of experience are OBVIOUS in her skills, advice and professionalism. She provides ample numbers of fittings, and I felt very comfortable leaving my gown with her in the short amount of time I had from drop off to wedding time! She understood exactly what my vision was for my gown and was able to execute it. Thank you!!!

I got married in April 2023. Selene altered my couture Berta dress and customized my veil. Selene is a natural talent! Berta dresses are extremely intricate and my dress was no exception. Other tailors I went to before Selene did not want to take on the project. The dress was bought off the rack with some minor damage around the corset. It also needed to be taken in and hemmed. The flower details on the bottom of the dress made this even more difficult. Selene effortlessly tailored the dress and preserved the original flower appliqué design! I wore my mother-in-law's veil which is 30+ years old and had a tear right in the middle. Selene used the salvaged flowers from the hemmed dress to customize the veil and to cover the tear. It was perfection! Selene also altered my mom's dress, which was beaded throughout, with ease. The price was extremely fair and the service was always exceptional. I highly recommend her and will be returning with future gowns.Service: Wedding gown alterations

My wedding ceremony date was pretty close when I found a dress. After looking through multiple reviews for various bridal gown alterations, Selene Bridal Alterations moved to the top of my list. That jump was completely justified. Selene did a wonderful job altering my dress and adding a custom edging to my train. She was personable and gave some great insight to my novice questions. Selene did an amazing job altering my Berta dress last year and she made me a gorgeous custom veil. She was always very patient with me and gave great advice. I’ve come to her again for another dress alteration and she again did a great job and was able to accommodate me very last minute. I will continue to come to her and would recommend Selene to any bride or friend!

Selene was kind, professional, and patient. I only had a few small alterations to my gown and she listened to what I wanted and did not upcharge me like so many of these bridal places do. The most amazing seamstress ever. I was directed to her after I purchased a Berta gown. My dress was 2 sizes too big and she worked MAGIC. She is so genuine and hands down the best seamstress ever. Thank you for everything!!!

I would give Selene 100 stars if i could! She did the most beautiful job, and was fantastic every step of the way. I brought my moms old wedding dress with the big huge 80s puffy sleeves in. I was pretty nervous because even though my moms dress looked great It was hard to have the vision of what it's actually going to look like. To be honest, I was semi regretting telling my mom I would wear her dress. BOY I WAS WRONG!!!! Selene meticulously altered the sleeves into the cutest cut ever. She brought in the waist where I felt like an actual princess. We had multiple fittings, each time Selene making it more and more beautiful, It came out better than I could have ever imagined. You could feel the love, it felt like my aunt was altering my dress. When I picked up my dress to bring it home I literally cried and thanked her. I didn't cry on the wedding day lol...but I cried for Selene. She knew how I wanted to look as a woman and was just so nice to work with. She also made my veil, which was also gorgeous. I would trust her with anything alterations, she will make you look fantastic, feel fantastic, and great customer service. I posted before and after pics, I wish i could wear my dress again, hopefully I have a daughter to continue the tradition.

My wedding dress was custom made by Selene bridal alterations based off a size 0 wedding dress I bought from a bridal event, and I am not a size 0. I was able to order more lace and Selene made me a totally custom, fit to my body dress based off my wedding dress dreams. My fittings were beyond fun with Selene! I had multiple in order to have her make a custom dress, and each fitting was more perfect than the next! She is SO talented and passionate about her work, and it really shows. She is priced extremely fair and her personality and attitude is LOVELY to be around!!!! She NEVER once told me “don’t eat” or “don’t gain weight”, you know the horror stories you hear, well not with Selene. It was never even a topic. I always felt comfortable and beautiful with her and knew she would make me the dream wedding dress, and she did.

Selene did an incredible job altering my wedding gown! Even for a wedding gown, my dress is very delicate (an illusion top and intricate detailing) so I truly don't know how she was able to take it in without any signs of alterations. She also picked up on minor details with the fabric that needed to be altered without me having even noticed, and it turned out so lovely. Cannot praise her enough! Thank you, Selene!
