Re: Sears Protection Agreement # 073906426200083 and Inferior service providedI renewed my Sears protection agreement in July of 2022 on my washer and dryer. I had been having issues with the dryer and a 3rd party repair person was sent, serviced dryer, and never told me not to use it, upon use clothes were torn and marked that Sears reimbursed the cost of damaged clothing. Another tech was sent, parts installed, and dryer worked until approximately a month ago.In February 2023 I was having issues with the washer not spinning correctly and shifting toward the back of the washer. Between February and last week, multiple appointments, multiple parts ordered and waits of approximately months between service calls due to waits for parts. The appointments from February through early May were done by 3rd parties. At least 3 spin baskets were ordered (first installed - still did not correct issue, second installed - still did not correct issue and was told it was due to a manufacturer's defect in that basket, third installed and still not working correctly).By this time, I took the advice of a Sear's tech who serviced machine years ago to tell them I will wait as long as I need to for a Sear's tech not a 3rd party. I received a call from an older woman who said she was from their conflict resolutions department (not sure if that I the correct department name but it was something similar). She told me Sears reserved the right to send who they thought appropriate to service machines, I explained to her the length of time and multiple parts ordered and that I was trying to save them money and myself aggravation by getting authentic Sears service. She scheduled an appointment for May 12th with a Sears tech. I don't have his name, but he did have a Sears shirt on, he was an older man with an accent. The washer issue was resolved within 15 minutes. It seemed a spring came off the undercarriage of the washer causing it to shift to the back, it had been laying on the floor under the washer. All those parts order, and at least 2 new baskets thrown out were not necessary. He looked at the dryer and kept muttering "these people" it seems they replaced the wrong size parts for the machine, and he said if he had the correct size part the dryer could have been fixed in 10 minutes. I felt relieved and it seemed the appliances would soon be in working order as he ordered the correct original size parts and said it would be a quick fix.Yesterday, instead of sending the Sears tech back that worked on it last week they sent another tech (Jahmall - his name was on the appointment email). He came in and spent 15 minutes opening and shifting the parts around before starting to take the dryer apart. He clearly looked confused, and my confidence was quickly diminishing. He replaced the roller and shaft that the Sears tech ordered, then proceeded to tear the sealing material off the back of the drum and put another one on with the glue seeping out in places. He then put the machine casing back and in putting in the one of the last screws, dropped his drill bit in the machine and had to take it apart again to find it... At this point, he was clearly frustrated with the job and could not get the casing to go back correctly resulting in a gap between the drum and the casing front and the top of the dryer popping up. He told me, yet again, after parts being ordered the week before that were supposed to rectify the problem, that he had to order more parts and I had to wait another week for service.I am a senior citizen and had a total right knee replacement a few months ago and cannot get to the laundromat. I now have about 3 weeks of laundry built up. He said I could use it but do light loads. Later in the day yesterday, I did a light load of my work clothes, underwear, and pillowcases. The dryer destroyed my clothes. There are black marks and rips on the clothing (two of the blouses were brand new as I bought clothes to go back to work late last month since my surgery. I went to their website and did a chat yesterday with Nich

I scheduled an appointment. They had me block of 9am-5pm (the whole day) for their visit. They arrived with almost no notice and then charged $100+ fee just to tell me what I already know (that my laundry rim needed to be swapped out). They then wanted to charge me $700 for a new rim of which $350 was going to be labor to do what is 10 minutes of work. This would also have required another full day of waiting several weeks out from the day of the estimate. The worker seemed extremely anxious and was very unclear about pricing, timing, and other factors related to the final quote. I decided to decline the quote due to the extreme unprofessionalism and would recommend others not to consider this company.Service: Washer/dryer repair

Worst experience possible! Once the reps in India lie about the service they claim will be provided, You can never speak to them again. No numbers are available to call. The techs are like Uber drivers, independent and don’t work for sears. There is no sears its a scam. No physical locations as they claim when google searching. It’s all a lie. Only recourse is to stop cc payment and hire a legit company. What a joke. Would never hire again!Service: Washer/dryer repair
