They don't have anything remotely good here. It's tiny and I'm not sure I'd call it a thrift store. More like a suppository for used up things no one would want. Not for thrift store lovers.

It is my favorite thrift shop. Nice clothes, nice staff and sometimes very unique things.

Love this place. Lots of super-cheap clothes. My advice on how to shop is to make three or four rounds just to make sure you didn't miss anything. Friendly staff, good vibes here. Also, I thought it worth adding that I've been to plenty of bigger, chain resale shops in NY and NJ like Unique, 2nd Ave Thrift, and this place is better. It's clean, rotates stock, and is far more pleasant.

I've come to this place for a long time ..well since living in the area . If you're like me ; you love a hood ole thrift shop ..someone's "junk" is another's treasure ..a lightbulb went off in my head (go figure) as I was in the area shopping for a new lamp. I didn't want something that looked so contemporary. I didn't want a desk lamp; And I didn't want a lamp shade. I have a very romantic vibe in my home ..so I needed something "antiquish" went in to the thrift store and as always found a beautiful lamp. For 7 bucks ; with no shade ; and it worked .. also found a couple of other items ..they're very nice and helpful here always . Not a housing works ; however skip the hooplah and just keep your eyes peeled when coming here !

I've been bringing donations here from back when it was under Franciscan Friars. The current location entrance is under construction and is no longer on 96th St. IT HAS MOVED AROUND THE CORNER TO THE DOORS AT AMSTERDAM & 97th St. just up the steps inside the black gates.I am so happy to see they've survived the pandemic. I don't know how this iteration of the thrift shop is. Again, I was dropping off donations, so I haven't seen this thrift in action, but if it's anything like its predecessor, it should be very nice and full of great stuff.

Great prices, but you definitely need to sift through a lot of stuff that won't work. Lots of men's suit jackets and pants. Some great finds like j crew shorts, Nicole Miller, French connection, club Monaco, banana republic.I'll definitely come back to browse and donate!

I love this place! Everything is very reasonably priced, and there is a lot of turnover so you can go back throughout the week and find new things. I often find excellent quality clothes from good brands. My only suggestion is that the store could be better organized -- at least at the moment, there are several spots where unsold and/or broken stuff has literally piled up. I imagine that the store could sell more and have better inventory if these junk piles were cleaned out!Edit: after moving to its new location, the store has become much better organized and there are no longer piles of stuff blocking the way! I still love going here and consider it my favorite thrift shop in the area.

I came here for maternity clothes. They didn't have any but they had plenty of things that fit me great for low prices. After the sticker shock I had at Housing Works, I was thrilled and grateful to find another option.

Glad to see that you all are keeping this going. I used to run the store back in the 90s. That's when the store really started making money. Not that I had anything to do with it, but I can't for the life of me figure out why it became so successful, literally overnight!Ciao for now ?️?
