Closed in January 2024 after several months of obvious decline and an inventory selldown in late December. Hope a CVS, Walgreens, 7-11, or mini Target takes over this prime commuter location soon.

This is the worst store in nyc with the nastiest cashiers imaginable. I would avoid this store at all costs. This is precisely why Rite Aid is now bankrupt because they have trash like this on their front line working as cashiers

Needed an Amazon gift card so was happy to see that Rite Aid in grand central had that in addition to many other gift cards. Although it was busy , the line moved quite quickly so I was able to be in and out in less than 5 minutes to catch my train.

The staff is disgustingly rude. They will ignore you when you ask for help. Ignore you and don’t answer you when you speak. For a location like GC we need better and more helpful staff. One woman did try to make up for it. But the rudeness is uncalled for. Probably going to stick to my local pharmacies moving forward even though this one is on my way home and convenient. After ringing up a Flonase that was marked at 22.99 - i was charged 35.99 for this. I need someone to explain that.

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience at my local Rite Aid that compelled me to share my negative encounter. It's disheartening to say that the actions of one particular employee, an older Spanish woman, have left a lasting negative impression on me.On multiple occasions during my visits to the store, this employee took it upon herself to follow me around, suspecting me of theft without any valid reason. The continuous accusations made me feel uncomfortable and unjustly targeted. However, it was the most recent incident that truly highlighted the lack of professionalism and accountability within the establishment.Just today, I was approached by the same employee who demanded that I empty my bag, insinuating that I was attempting to steal. I complied with her request, only to find out that she had made a mistaken assumption. Instead of offering an apology for the distress caused, she simply brushed it off, claiming she had no recollection of the incident when confronted by the manager.The behavior exhibited by this employee not only violated my rights as a customer but also tarnished the reputation of Rite Aid as a whole. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, and to be free from unwarranted suspicion.Furthermore, the lack of accountability shown by the employee, even after her error was exposed, indicates a disregard for customer satisfaction and a failure to address and rectify such issues within the store. This level of customer service is unacceptable and calls into question the overall management and training at Rite Aid.I sincerely hope that Rite Aid takes this matter seriously and addresses the behavior of this particular employee, ensuring that customers are treated fairly and respectfully in the future. As a consumer, it is disheartening to have such an unpleasant experience in a store that should prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a welcoming environment for all.In conclusion, my encounters at this Rite Aid have been marred by the unprofessional conduct of an employee who consistently accused me of theft without any justification. The lack of accountability and poor customer service displayed during my most recent visit further compounded my dissatisfaction. I strongly urge Rite Aid to address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to improve the customer experience within their store.

Move your Google Maps pin location to your actual location, and not smack dab in the middle of the main concourse. I'm tired of having been told I visited Rite Aid every single day on my daily commute. 5 stars if you correct your location.

I had a good experience picking up a prescription here. Mercy was an efficient and helpful pharmacist. I was also surprised by how easy it was to find the pharmacy within Grand Central Station as a whole. I was also very happy with the price I got from GoodRx my prescription ended up being much cheaper at Rite Aid then it other chain pharmacies in the area. Highly recommend!
