Jess, David, and Akilah were super helpful and informative. It was very clear that they knew their products and what would work with your skin tone and type. I went to this location about two weeks ago and the sales rep was very helpful but one of the many items I got happened to be the incorrect shade. Went back to exchanged it for the correct shade, and was giving such a hard time to do an even exchange for the same item - correct shade with receipt.The Store Manager and Assistant were the ones helping me and I was blown away with their customer service just horrible. They said I had to paid more because they gave me a discount. Which is nuts being that they were one that handed me the incorrect item since they are ones that grab it not the customer. It’s sad since there’s barely any MAC stores left you will think that they will probably great service.

Gianna helped me out on Sunday 9/10/24, she was a doll and very knowledgeable. I went into the store very spontaneously and wanting to upgrade my current makeup. She enforced how important skincare/lip care is for the perfect makeup application so I was able to try their new skin care line as a free sample. I felt open to describing my current favorite products along with the issues I encounter with them and she guided me towards products I may like by the MAC brand. I left the store with all my favorite staple products as well new products I may love to use in my daily routine. Thank you Gianna for the confidence and new makeup techniques I would love to shop with you again!*The photo provided: A very natural makeup look. I prepped the skin with the new MAC skincare line as well as the lip prep and prime. To start the makeup I used prep and prime natural radiance base to prime the skin and layered the studio radiance serum-powered foundation on top. Added some bronzer and blush and lastly MAC fix +. I have very dry skin and this combination makes my skin look so naturally hydrated without the oily look and no use of setting powders.Lipstick: mocha lipliner: soar

Im giving a 2 stat because of the experience with this employee (Kelly R) I usually come to the store because it is the nearest mac store from my house, and USUALLY I have a nice experience. Today I went up to Kelly R because I couldn’t find 3 lip liners I was looking for. The first lip liner which was OAK I ask her if I can have a try pencil because I dont see it there. She was like “ Yes it is there” I was like no it is not there , she was like “ yes it is there” ( in my mind im like oh im blind or dimply, im going crazy) when she goes there to “double check me” she is like oh alright I have a try pencil in this table. I ask her then if she can also look for the pencil Strip down, she looks for it and takes it out, and then I ask her for half red pencil. All 3 of them so I can try it out. when I ask her for half red she is like, “well look for it my love is there.” I did not responded because I was like this is kind if rude and passive aggressive. But I stayed shut. While she sees me looking for the lip liner because clearly i cant find it , she is like it “is here look”. I went to a mirror and I tried the three of them , when I go to pay she was like “oh thats it?” Alright. I know usually we have bad days at work but you cant give a bad experience to a customer just because you are having a rough day. I understand customers can be difficult but I was not being difficult, i needed help finding a lip liner. I cant imagine the people that have go there and did not know what to buy. ADD to this she was talking about another co worker in front of me with another co worker :)

Completely empty. It’s closed. Don’t make the same mistake as I did and assume that just because it says it’s open on google maps that it’s actually open.

I went to the Columbus Circle store on 4/19 and the service was lackluster. I don’t wear make up often so I was a bit confused on what lipstick to buy and while I was given two choices, I was told to play around with the colors then ignored. The store was empty so I don’t know what the problem was. I went to Sephora and got way better service. They stay with you and help you the entire time. I spent $100 in Sephora. I would not go back to this MAC store

I went a few days ago and everyone was so nice! I know/knew very little about makeup and the people working there were super helpful, kind, and nonjudgemental. They made a big effort to find the products I was interested in and answered all my questions. Kelly even showed me a simple makeup routine (for free!) that I liked the look of that I managed to replicate at home two days later.

I visited the store last week and Brittany was absolutely phenomenal. Not only was she warm and welcoming, she went into details about the benefits of highlighting and contouring. I also loved my holiday lip trio and will be back for more 10 10 10 across the board Brittany!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service today. If I wasn't a loyal fan of the actual brand I would never shop with this company. Management please revisit with your staff what excellent customer service entails.

Very robotic customer service/ make (artists) unfortunately not many max stores available in the city now a days because of their worst customer service. You better off buying other brands at Sephora so many good brands now a days same price point better quality
