I was visiting from California and wanted to buy my first Gucci bag in New York. Last time I went to 5th av and was treated like crap but this store was very welcoming and helpful. They weren't pushy and I wish I remembered my sales lady cause she was patient and showed me everything I wanted. I saw this bag last minute in the men's section and I fell in love with the simplicity but iconic print. I love my bag and will be back again.

Visited this store last year on a weekend get a way with the hubs. We were greeted by Cedric, who I might add is just AMAZING!!! He took care of all my needs even after I returned home to Massachusetts. He not only gave me 5 star treatment at Gucci but then walked me over to Louis Vuitton to personally hand us off to some of his very wonderful friends there. An experience we will not forget!

Gucci training department:There is something fundamentally wrong with the way that Gucci train it is employees especially the customer service, I notice it in all employees of Gucci who work in different New York City locations so this review is about the training method or how training managers train Gucci employees, there is something wrong about this training so I'm not criticizing individual employees because they just don’t know any better but they practicing what the trainer manager instructs them to do, contact me to elaborate or to validate this assumption/concern.

So I stepped in on 1/4/23 during my lunch break to look at potential picks for a new bag and compare sizes. No one greeted me, I had to lock eyes with the female employee that was standing closest to the door. She wasn't friendly at all, acted as if she didn't want to help and definitely had a horrible demeanor towards me and my coworker. We're both Indian by the way and wondering if that plays a role since a Caucasian woman in a frumpy oversized t-shirt was greeted so warmly by a male employee right after us. Anyway, I asked to look at multiple pieces both men and women's since I was looking for more than one thing. But each time I asked questions or wanted to see something else she was so uninterested I felt like I was literally begging her. At that point I didn't want to look at anything else and just wanted to leave the store. Being the classy and prominent woman that I am, I chose not to be rude to her. However I will be looking to get in touch with the manager and headquarters to hopefully resolve the matter. She doesn't seem fit to be working for the Gucci brand. There was zero hospitality as compared to better luxury brands. Sadly I've shopped at this location years ago and had a wonderful experience when I was helped by a male. If Gucci is going to have a female employee that has a demeanor as if she's looking down on me for whatever reason, then she shouldn't be working there and my thousands of dollars is definitely not going towards their commission.

I never been inside a luxury place before because I get anxious if workers would stare and just keep catch but this was not the case when I went yesterday with my friend to pick up her giftA nice sweet, friendly lady with short hair and bangs helped us! She is very considerate where we said the purchase a gift and gave us a little gift bag to put it in!Wish I took pics of the place & would recommend shopping or even just taking a look!

The location is horrible. There is no parking. I probably found parking one out of every 14 attempts to shop at Gucci. So disappointing.

No appointment, my family and I just walked in browsing. We were happily greeted by two staff members and warmly welcomed. I browsed through the store with my youngest son following along. A sales associate followed us around happy to assist with any questions. I didn't end up purchasing anything this time around but I did feel welcomed and plan on returning in the near future.

When I arrived for the appointment I had scheduled online in advance, the salesman rudely told me they had no record of it. Even though the store was empty, he only reluctantly assisted me. The Brookfield Place store did not have the shoe I wanted in stock and he refused to order it for me, for deliver. He grudgingly allowed me to try on a similar shoe for sizing, but seemed to not want me to order it -- suggesting my normally size 9.5M foot was just "too big" for a Gucci shoe. Mind you, I was nicely dressed in business casual clothes, a designer leather sneaker, with a full blow out & lightly made up, and carrying a designer bag -- nothing to suggest I couldn't afford to buy a single pair of shoes or conduct myself appropriately in the shop. Based this experience, my desire for the shoes has evaporated, and I've soured on the label. I hope this person isn't considered a "brand ambassador".

Brought a watch in for repair in May. They forgot it for a month. Ultimately told me that they no longer repair this model and gave me the name of a local jeweler. Had hoped for better.

Pretty cool people I went to look at a bag they actually don't even make anymore I was shocked.
