Horrible service. I am trapped into this and I am not even able to freeze my account by email…

Reading the other reviews about friendliness are a tad surprising. Ive been coming to his location for over two years and they never greet you or say hello. They often don’t even look up to acknowledge you or too busy chatting. Even if you say hello to them. What kind of lifestyle hospitality brand allows that? Ive even been asked specifically by management how this location can make member experiences better and that was one example I provided. It sets the tone for every member walking through the door. I don't pay the prices to be treated like I’m not good enough to be apart of the gym. It’s gotten to the point I will go out of my at to go to a different location even though this one is most convenient.

I called for more information, I The girl at the front desk was really rude, and the manager too, in any case I filed ONE case in Santa Monica California Court for discrimination.

Do not be fool by how nice they are upon signing. They kept charging me even with a surgeon letter confirming that best I do not use any gymn equipment until after surgery and full rehab.Extremely rude management as well.Make sure to clean the equipment you used or want to use with the cleaning wipes they display as they will not. I once had the privilege of biking next to a vagrant they let in the bike room on the ground floorI highly recommend "Intermix "where you can choose from a variety of plans ( Tier) offers.FYI They delete bad reviews as well....

I’ve been coming to this equinox for 6 years. All of the staff and the regular guests are super friendly, providing a great setting to enjoy your workout.Gym Memberships have increased all over the city and this location gets fairly busy during prime hours. The property is maintained very well. You’ll find the space very clean and orderly. The location is super convenient as the area is mostly residential.

Very surprised that there were no clean towels available this evening. 3rd time this has happened in the last 3 times I've gone here. Not what I've come to expect from Equinox. Members waiting to take a shower...no towels. Had to use little face towels to dry off. The clients expect to find clean, dry bath towels when it's time to shower. Maintenance staff should be proactive

Was a bit weary about hitting this Equinox given the reviews. But after a couple visits, not sure what they were referring toSteam room in men’s locker room works great. Clean tooGroup classes have been solid so far, space is fitted out properStaff have all been very friendly tooIt’s not the biggest Equinox but also not the smallest. Gets the job done and then some. Great strength area and also yoga studio upstairsThankful it’s legit since it’s the closest one to me - will be going back nearly daily

Nothing but good things to say about the staff and cleanliness of this location but the steam room rarely works. I emailed the Director asking when this problem will be fixed but never heard back. Will be cancelling my membership and moving to Lifetime.

The locker rooms are weirdly close to each other. But I understand that can't be controlled. For strength, you'll spend most of your time in the basement, which isn't bad, just an atmosphere if you mind that. There is no lat raise machine. Steam room uses its space cleverly and has a shower near the load bearing column. Showers are good pressure.

This Equinox location is one of the nicest on the Eastside near the Lipstick Building just down the street. Located conveniently to the subway line (6-train), accessibility is very quick by public transport. Having had a membership (between 2020-2012) Equinox offers a great range of yoga and Pilates classes as well as aerobics, to cycling. This facility lacks a swimming pool, and the nearest is at the Columbus Circle location. Membership offers two types:1) the one club, or 2) the passport, which features all other club locations throughout NYC. Of course pricing from then till now has dramatically increased over time. And literally is unaffordable for the average person. But, if it’s within budget—such an outstanding organization to workout at by comparison to other competitors outside of the New York City venue. In my opinion they should go “nationwide” as a corporate entity and move into the stock market, honestly. At least one or two, in places on the West Coast like (Seattle, San Francisco or LA), seriously LA— such a great place for landing several everywhere!

This is THE WORST Equinox in NYC. Nothing against the staff since there’s nothing wrong with them, but the facility is just awful.Cramped space and not enough machines/weights/etc for $250+ a month. When I first used this gym I thought i had to be missing a floor or area with more stuff in it, but nope it’s small relative to other Equinox’s. I would not sign up to use this as your primary gym as you can get a membership elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Or, if you want to use Equinox just pick another location.

I've been coming here since February and I really like this location, mostly because it's so close to me.For the past like month though, the men's steam room has had dirt all over the floor... It's very annoying to have a good workout, and then end it in the steam room, only to have my feet feel disgusting. In most Equinoxes, I see them using a hose and spraying down the steam room and stuff, but I know for a fact they don't do it here... There's no way people are tracking in this much dirt literally every single day of the week. Pretty annoying to be honest.Photo is from a (small) 1sqft section of the floor in the steam room.

Constantly closed (7pm on friday for example, so you cant get there after work, and randomly closed many saturdays), tiny, and over crowded. Not enough machines. Better experience at NYSC or NYHR for half the cost. Waiting for year to be up so I can cancel.
