The older lady working here today around 11:30 am is beyond rude. She has a horrible disposition and needs to learn customer service. I'm guessing she was the manager by the way she was speaking to the associate. Will never visit this location again.

Rude and condescending pharmacy staff. Recommend using local neighborhood pharmacy so you don’t feel worse trying to get medicine.I understand it’s a CVS and none of them are winning awards for their hospitality anytime soon. But at the very least, I expect a respectful tone of voice when talking to people. The people who work here are unhappy and it shows. I feel sorry for them.

Lovely staff, very attentive and polite.I was prescribed medications for my worsened asthma. Came here on Saturday after a notification and got 3/4 medications within 15 minutes. They offered to transfer fourth one to another pharmacy, as it was out of stock. As my insurance declined one inhaler (they’re pricey), pharmacist kindly made a discount (which was around $15).I also purchased a few skincare items, in-store staff helped a lot with their adviceIncredibly grateful!

Seeing all the other negative reviews of the pharmacy is not surprising. Pharmacist Karli Doran was rude, condescending, entirely unhelpful, only suggesting "call corporate". No attempt at a solution or any other idea to help a customer get vaccinated. Truly a miserable place with some absolutely miserable employees. Going elsewhere.

CVS what are you trying to do? Saving the planet? Selling cheap quality paper bags after cutting all the trees? The planet will survive. Just try to save the trees and the human race. What is going on in CVS?

The pharmacy signs are not labeled correctly. Confused ppl since this location counts are a bit different so I am hoping this can be corrected by management with labels. I walked in for my prescriptions and saw the pharmacy sign so I wait there for half hour and then she said she is only for pick up but there’s not sign about. So I have to wait another line for another half hour

This reviews is about the pharmacy itself. Poor management. Poor service. It is impossible to get help over the phone; nobody every answers! Ever! I have waited up to 40 minutes without an answer. I have been to the store and see how they just ignore the phone ringing. Yet, when one goes in and need help with vaccines or prescriptions, they tell you to come back and to call the pharmacy first before going back. Furthermore, the staff at the pharmacy is very unfriendly, unwelcoming, and is difficult to get helpful and polite service from them. Not once in my countless visits have I seen anyone say hello, or thank you, or smile, or voluntarily offer help. They seem to be bothered by any question you ask. In more than once occasion, I have witnessed other customers become irritated by lack of good customer service. The prescriptions take way too long to be prepared. When one comes days later to pick up medications, they are not able to locate the bagged medicine. Often, there are bagged medicines all over the floor. All and all, this pharmacy staff needs to be re-trained and better managed.

I’m a regular here. Usually people are not bad, but today, the pharmacy workers at this location are bunch of angry people. If they don’t like working on the weekends, they need to quit. Not sure who does the hiring but they are unprofessional and rude. I came into pick up my prescription. A female worker (approx in her early 20s) instead of saying nicely, “sorry we are closed for lunch, please come back.” Like a normal person with customer service experience, she shouted at me and an elderly lady to leave holding a cane. A guy that’s semi bald comes out tells the elderly lady to step back in an aggressive way and closed the gate right in front of us. They couldn’t give her medicine?? These people need proper customer service training and some empathy skills. Being 1 min behind lunch break really isn’t going to kill them. There was only two of us! It was so dead in the cvs. Handing meds to a person takes seconds. They are lazy and rude. The elderly woman explained she couldn’t walk and come back. If they can’t do that idk how they are even working as this profession. I’m so disgusted.

Don’t mind this place when I visit—kind and solicitous customer service. However, I called with a vaccine question recently and I have to say, customer service on the phone was quite rude/abrupt. Sad. They’re dealing with people’s health.

The pharmacy seems to be poorly run. Everything from picking up medication to asking questions over the phone seems to just take them longer than other Manhattan pharmacies. The staff seems to do the bare minimum, and it's taken multiple visits to get a prescription refilled before.

Another example of how our local CVS doesn't care about the neighborhood.. They never pickup after themselves or clean the side walk in front of their store, as required. This is a daily issue that has been brought to their attention many times. It always looks like this. See pictures There is a residential building next door at 56110th ave and there is a school at 555 10th ave. The kids are always lined up around this garbage.. Shame on CVS!

So here is what I find unbelievable about this place. With people complaining that their prescription isn't ready or long lines at the counter, I have never seen a staff of pharmacists so dedicated to saving customers $$$Just last week I was waiting in line only to overhear one of their amazing pharma-techs ( Maria) telling a customer that her $400 medication was not covered by insurance, but Maria took about 10 minutes to find coupons that saved the woman $300. As if that wasn't enough, the pharmacy manager - I think her name is Karli - found an additional $60 of savings - so the customer was saving $360 that I am sure Duane Reade would have gladly takenThe fact that these 2 were competing to see who could save this customer the most money was both unconventional and refreshing all at the same time, and it's why I won't go anywhere else for my pharmacy needs

I am more than pleased to have made the decision to make CVS my number one choice to buy miscellaneous items for my perusal. Thank you for caring about my household budget.

Jaquell is amazing I had to ask for his name just to credit him here. I live nearby and he always asks everyone if they need help.
