Disappointing Experience at CVS With Manager Fitz During a recent visit to CVS, I encountered a situation that left me quite dissatisfied. Around 7 PM, when I attempted to check out, I was informed by an employee, who introduced himself as the manager named FITZ, that no cashiers were available as the cashier was supposedly on a lunch break at 7PM. Despite the store not being busy, he declined to assist me at the register, which I found quite unusual and inconvenient. His demeanor and lack of responsiveness gave me the impression that he was not fully attentive or possibly under the influence, though it's difficult to ascertain the exact cause of his unhelpfulness. When I requested to speak with another manager or supervisor for assistance, my request was unfortunately refused. Given the circumstances, I feel compelled to reach out to the corporate office to express my concerns about this experience. It's disheartening to encounter such service, especially when alternatives like Duane Reade are becoming less available in NYC. I hope that by sharing my experience, CVS can address and improve the level of customer service offered, ensuring that future visits are more positive for all customers.

I just want to give 5 stars to Federico/Frederico (apologies if I misspell). He had the best customer service I’ve ever seen in a pharmacy! Made sure no one cut the line, had a great attitude and handled everything like a pro. He really made my day with his amazing presence

Came here for flu shots for the kiddos - they were both nervous and my 6-year old actually started to cry. Melissa overheard and came over to save the day, totally calmed them down and got them through. Truly an angel!We usually go to the Walgreens/Duane Reade that is closer to our house, but CVS is just nicer - better lighting, better selection, friendlier staff.

Got everything we needed there (Beer, raincoats, umbrellas, etc). No problems with self-checkout.

I have no idea how CVS treats their staff ? It seems over many years , they are incompetent time after time after time . I unfortunately don’t have a choice but to use this store , and on a regular basis they make mistakes or just don’t think or can’t be bothered .Trying to get through to the pharmacy on the phone is impossible and IF you do , they are curt and rude and NEVER follows up EVER !The way the pharmacy staff act ( often on their personal cell phones ) , speak to customers , and in general deplorable service is beyond comprehension. It’s as if they are doing US a big favor , when they are not gossiping or just hanging around idle .Dealing with the store often makes me very ill , bringing on panic attacks . This is what happens with large corporations who don’t look after their staff or cares about their customers . As for filling out surveys on performance? What for , you don’t even reply to my emails . Dreadful places . And I pay $1400 a month insurance for this NON service . I am very hopefully coming off my medication . THE REAL MAIN REASON I want to come off everything , is dealing with CVS . The same is to be said for the other main pharmacy companies in the USA. They just want your money and to pop pills .Please , someone , open a private pharmacy who will accept my insurance / medication etc nearby .

Idk why the ratings are so low. They run such a tight ship. I noticed I always get greeted at the door, and I have the highest praises for their pharmacy. I'd even go as far to say they have the fastest pharmacy in this country LOL. One time I was at City MD and sent a scrip to this location but two minutes later decided to send it to the 24 hour CVS since it was late at night. It couldn't send to the second CVS because this location already finished filling it LOL. If there's a delay it's likely bc of a patient or your insurance. Btw it's a smaller location so selection is limited in comparison to the bigger one at Columbus Circle Sometimes their AC breaks and it's awful, but I didn't know one could have a "favorite CVS" until I lived by this one LOL they are amazing

If you are having any issues concerning your prescriptions, this pharmacy and their workers are probably the laziest people I have ever had the opportunity to meet. Not only did they make my insurance company jump through hoops as well as my doctor and my doctor’s staff call them over and over again. They simply just don’t want to do the steps that is required of their job to help people in need. After crying and visiting them for over two weeks, I brought my issues to Arrow Pharmacy, which is just less than a block away from them. And they were able to solve all my issues with a $1 copay fee, and the same day I got help from Arrow, CVS contacted me back telling me I would need to contact social services because they just wouldn’t go through the simple steps that they felt would inconvenience them. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS AND PRESCRIPTIONS TO ARROW PHARMACY

The pharmacy here is so frustrating, they never answer the phone. Why do you have employees? I guess they're just there to socialize and kill time. PICK UP THE PHONE, DO YOUR JOB.

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy. Made a pregnant lady wait for one hour standing and nothing was solved. Left without my prescription. All they said was sorry. Manager is very rude and doesn’t care about even trying to help people. All she cared was how to get the line down every time there was a huge line. Absolute disaster. I hope they will get treated like that when they are customers somewhere.
