The ambience of the CVS is nice. The pervasive scent of marijuana is not present, which I give props for. Great aloe water!

The pharmacist is literally bullied by the cashier. Pathetic. Awful service. Almost laughable How can a licensed pharmacist allow a cashier tell her what to do????

Really astonished at the terrible customer service provided including by its managers. Came in nearly a week later to pick up my photos only to find they never printed. OK. Despite being told they would be printed the next day I came back only to find out they had once again failed to do so. You would think someone would have reached out to notify me or the managers apologize in person for this incredible level of incompetence but NOPE. No wonder CVS is a dying brand in this city.

Not a great place to get a vaccine. Uses dated info instead of what’s entered and confirms your appointments even when they don’t have the vaccine. Better off going to Duane Reade or Rite Aid.

I am writing to commend one CVS employee in particular, Elias, who works at your 161 6th Ave and Spring St. store in Manhattan, NYC. Elias was spectacularly helpful. He saw me and my adult daughter struggling to place all our purchases on the surface reserved for purchases at a self-service kiosk and literally extended a hand from behind the cash register he was stationed at to help us. He then answered all my questions about how to use our multiple receipt coupons, and, to make things easier, offered to do checkouts for separate items at his register. This took time and care on his part, and he was simply fantastic. I wish there were more people like Elias working at every CVS, indeed everywhere where knowledgeable interaction with customers is part of the job. In addition to knowledgeable, Elias is understanding of and kind to customers. I will return to that store for all my upcoming needs due to him.

This is a perfect location for a CVS. I recall wondering what was going to take over this space when it sat sitting empty, waiting to be loved. I do miss the fruit stand guy that had been set-up on that corner for years though.Though, one thing, I was menaced by two kids in the candy aisle on one occasion. I was looking for Justin's Peanut Butter Cups (which apparently CVS doesn't have in the candy aisle) and so as I stood there, pacing back and forth, making sure I wasn't overlooking anything, two teeny boppers came in and decided that they would have a little fun by pacing back and first behind me, bumping into me, one of them hiking his backpack into my chest, and generally doing what I would call "menacing" me.They weren't buying anything, they were just there. Hovering, shadowing, and being teeny boppers, except for some reason they were unnaturally obsessed with my presence in the candy aisle looking for my Justin's Peanut Butter Cups.So after being bumped by these two rude kids one too many times, I finally took out my phone and started recording. At which point I feel like they got the hint. BEAT IT YOU LITTLE CRIMINALS!I actually ended up being the one who spoke up to finally let them know that I was moving to the next aisle to give them all of the room that they needed to loiter being that they clearly had no manners and had not been taught well how to make consumer decisions without tackling other customers.Video attached, be on the lookout for these faces 'cause I don't know!

This CVS constantly closes at 11:30 pm instead of midnight as published. Either change your business hours or stay open till the published time.

The young lady who assisted me was very helpful and had a pleasant attitude. I needed help finding an address and came in just to ask for directions. Because of how helpful and courteous she was to me, I was compelled to make a purchase. Thanks and Keep up the Good Job Shelley! She’s Awesome!!!

Having been a CVS customer for many decades, I am so disappointed with this location. The pharmacists are quite rude, most items are locked an need a manager to purchase even soap and shampoo, and this location was not doing COVID vaccinations for no reason I had to go to the Bleeker Street location. Even the satelite CVS at Target is more professional then here. It is too bad because this one on Spring street is very conveniently located next to the subway stop and Trader Joe's but I will not be going here again. CVS should just close this store.

While inventory may be low at times, I have to say, the staff at this CVS are some of the most hardworking, respectful and friendly staff I've ever experienced. They're always available and at the ready to help when needed, and are so welcoming every time I enter/leave the store. Definitely a breathe of fresh air. Thank you!!

This message is for the district leader for this store! He should be ashamed of himself for making this pregnant pharmacist work by herself!! The poor pharmacist is rushing around to answer phones, and filling prescriptions and manning the registers all by herself. I can tell she is stressed out and not to mention how all of this running around is affecting her body. This is disgusting that cvs management allowed this to happen. I’m sure the pregnant Pharmacist had no choice but to work under these insane conditions! At one point, she had 6 people waiting on line for her to pick up prescriptions but she was already doing the best she could. This is not right that management is abusing their employees like this. This company is disgusting! The shameless district leader who allowed this to happen and allowed customers to witness this ridiculous disregard of this employee’s safety should be held accountable for this recklessness! Give the poor woman some help!!! She clearly needs it!!! I hope the media catches wind of this and puts cvs on blast for doing this to their employees.

CVS is a huge money maker that I can't resist when I'm nearby. When I get a 40% off coupon it's a deal. If you pay full price you are crazy. Everything can be found elsewhere for much less. This location is clean and well stocked. Employees are always eager to assist. If you need something stop in.
