Understaffed and not enough desks/tables. Poor management. Sat almost an hour waiting to speak with a banker and someone who arrived after me was tended to first because they assumed I wasn’t citigold (discrimination?)… tellers are nice but there’s always a line. Banker that I did eventually speak to was nice as well. But honestly an overall horrible experience. The interior is very pretty, but not so functional when there aren’t enough desks to service patrons…

Not open as advertised, no sign to explain when they would open. Every time someone new comes in they pull in the door and wonder, what is wrong?? Then someone may or may not come to explain. They say 10:30 or 11:00. What does the operating procedures say to do in this case?? I’ve been here since 9:55 trying to get in with my day.

This branch is terrible and has gotten worse since they "renovated" and moved across B'way. There is never more than one teller on duty (I'm told this is because it is always lunch time) and the line is always long. Today, there were 12 people in line and one teller. Then she left for lunch and another came back from lunch, so still just one teller. The one teller who was available is named Joselyn, and she has a real attitude. She is SO unprofessional. This is not the first time she has treated me so rudely. I asked her about a suspicious person who was hanging around...I asked "Is that a bank employee or a customer?' She said, "Lady, I don't know." You would think that a teller would know other employees. Then, I asked her why there are always so tellers...she responded with this snipey remark: "Look, the other customers aren't complaining!" I am a CitiGold customer, a Private Wealth client, and have my business and personal banking with Citi. This branch and its teller, Joselyn certainly do not make me feel valued.

Katherine’s attention in this branch is by far the most positive banking experience I’ve had. I would 100% recommend coming here.Hakeem was super helpful and overall friendly and great to deal with as well.

The new space is beautiful. There are normally two tellers and a supervisor who assist with problem customers. They don’t care how long the line is, supervisors don’t help customers. Expect to wait 20 minutes. Management need’s training on supporting staff and customers. If you have choice, use another branch.

Outstanding how the co-workers look out for each other, still able to looked out for each other and able to welcome anybody who walks thru the opening door. Also everyone treated Like family. priceless Keep the good work and I love the new branch.

i've been a citibank client for 28 years. the new citibank branch at 2553 broadway is AWFUL. Customer service is terrible. I opened a savings account with a personal banker for the promotional rate savings rate in April 2023. I discovered in July that i received no interest instead of the promotional rate. I met with the branch manager twice. Each time, she promised she would correct the error. She did not. And she does not return calls or emails. The branch is filled with clients who are angry with the poor service. This Citibank branch and branch manager is THE WORST. AVOID.

I recently had a great experience at a Citibank branch thanks to Natalya, the concierge. She was very welcoming and helped me out with my banking needs. Natalya was knowledgeable, professional, and seemed to genuinely care about my satisfaction as a customer.If you're looking for good service, I would recommend checking out this branch and talking to Natalya. She definitely made a great impression on me, and I'm sure she'll do the same for you. Citibank has a great team member in Natalya, and I'm glad I got to experience her excellent service.

I love the new location. I was pleasantly greeted by a well polished and professionally dressed concierge who was standing next to the seating area. Who asked me "how can we help you today!" I explained to her why I was there and she immediately proceeded to get someone to help me. The concierge introduced me to Natalya Sobolev who is s concierge banker about the service that I needed so within three minutes I was escorted to lovely private room to complete my banking transaction. Ms. Sobelov was pleasant, professional and provided me with the information that I needed to confirm my banking transactions.I am thrilled that Citibank moved to this new locations. The decor is amazing, the service is impeccable and every customer is treated like a VIP...Kudos to Citibank...keep up the good work!?

I typically prefer this location on Broadway 96th for convenience near the subway station. (1,2,3) Interested in investments I had the pleasure speaking with the Personal Banker Julio T . very professional and helpful. The manager was also friendly and knowledgeable. The bank has very clean and organized .
