**Warning for International Students and Work Visa Holders - Avoid Chase Bank**I recently had a highly unfortunate experience with Chase Bank, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn fellow international students and H1B visa holders (or other work visa holders). My account was unexpectedly frozen due to my nationality, a crucial detail conveniently omitted during the account setup process.Chase not only failed to inform me about potential restrictions but also proved uncooperative in releasing my funds promptly. Despite providing immigration documents from USCIS, they demanded irrelevant paperwork, adding unnecessary hurdles to accessing my own money.Moreover, my attempts to seek assistance from Chase employees were met with limited knowledge about banking processes, often resulting in misleading information.I strongly advise international students and work visa holders to reconsider using Chase Bank. Explore alternative banking options like Wells Fargo or TD Bank, which do not impose such restrictions and exhibit a higher level of understanding and cooperation.

If you can PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER BRANCH. Upon waiting in a line for 25 minutes the teller rudely denied service to a person when he asked a simple question. When I originally approached and discussed my issue. The teller was so disrespectful. It was absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. Then asked for me to confirm my signature by bring the branch manager. Absolutely disgusting. Then above all was speaking about me to another teller. Taina is absolutely the worst teller to have came across the Chase corporation. Honestly I feel nothing but pity for a woman like that whose sole purpose is to try and bring every customer she encounters down. Disgusting.

Horrible customer service, will never go back to this location. If I weren’t already a client gif so long I’d close my account due to my experiences! This time I waited for over an hour to have a representative complete some paperwork with me. After my hour waiting I noticed she had t returned to her office only to find out by security that she left for lunch. There were several of us left speechless

To make a story with long simple and quick my account 901-238-839 and available balance of $20,000 and that was removed some lady calls me from the federal government and tells me that she's closing my account due to specific reasons I hung up and the customer service

Spoke to 3 chase representatives over the phone! No one could solve my issue or tell me what it was. Card ended up frozen.Spoke to Sibe for 15mins at this branch. Sorted my issue easily. Great in person service !

Don’t bank here- only gets one star b/c wouldn’t post with Zero- squatted on what my parents left me due to my “deposit history” meaning because I am a poor scumbag who works for a living it must be suspicious that I have any money - hid behind some soft language in arcane federal banking reg - took me 3 hours on hold to get a straight answer from senior analyst “MJ” in loss control who has the bedside manner of a great white shark - lied to at branch when told by a teller at deposit my funds would likely be available sooner & menaced by security guard when I went to branch for infoATTENTION regulators, legislators and plaintiffs bar

Who is running this place??? It's a bit past noon, on a Monday, and no one answers the phone. To clarify: the first couple of times I called no one picked up, and then someone picked up and hung up--more than once. Is there a manager? Is this a real Chase bank???

Terrible service if your not going for a quick atm withdrawal dont bother they take forever to see u such a huge bank and had only 2 bankers waited 30 mins for a statement horrible

Top service from every banker here. I come in all the time for my personal and business transactions. I've never given 5 stars in anything but this vendor I do. I'm never disappointed. Lines are short. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. And the past 8 yrs now i don't have to have ID. Ahmed a business account specialist is particularly patient and takes care of whatever I need. Go see him. Even my children who wait while I often get certified checks are entertained by the staff. It's like a small family bank but with the resources of a big bank. Perhaps I need to transfer all my accounts to Chase. Hmmmm

I also had problems opening an account with this bank and particular branch. There had been two mistakes in my address -- even if I took extraordinary pains to make sure that the account officer wrote my address correctly. I ended up having to cancel a card and had a new one sent to my correct address. I was charged $5 for the new card, which was caused entirely by their own mistake. That is not the end of my trouble. Although I have been withdrawing from my account, recently there was an account restriction placed on my account; ie., I could not withdraw from the ATM. When I inquired, I was told that I had insufficient second ID even if I showed enough IDs including driving license and work ID and passport and was ready to show more if the account officer asked for more. I'm going to the office manager and complain about all these.
