This place was good when it first opened, but everything has gone downhill -- the salads seem pre-made and remind me of McDonald's salads (nearly frozen tomatoes and lettuce) and they have really decreased the amount of what makes them special.. like the shitake bacon. I stopped getting salads and thought the amount of (hard!) brussels in one portion was laughably small. I just can't justify the cost of their food anymore, especially when there are so many better options nearby. I think company just isn't doing well, and has tried to sustain itself by cutting quality and portions, and not putting the rights resources and processes in place for the staff. Sometimes vegan places get inflated reviews simply because they're vegan, and doing a great thing by offering vegan options, but just aren't good enough to stand up to vegan options at non-vegan places :-(

Ordered for delivery. The food took a while and I wasn't able to request having jalapeños taken out of the dish. It looked good anyway, so decided to go through with the order. Food took a while but was disappointing to say the least. I have definitely had better vegan food. But worst of all, I had a big piece of plastic in my salad that I bit into. Never ordering from here again.

I went out my way to go to the Lexington location their food was not as good as it looked. It had no flavor and tasted like nothing. I ordered the protein over rice with salad and white sauce, a protein burger with Mac & cheese, the Mac & cheese with the chicken- protein and a protein philly cheesesteak. The portions of food were small it's not worth it I recommend going to NEXT STOP VEGAN instead.

Overall: I would be open to ordering from Beatnic again. I wouldn't get a cookie, because that doesn't seem worth it to me, but the fries and burger are definitely good for their price. If you're in a position to dine-in, definitely do so, but if ordering out, you may need to reheat your food.Details (+prices):My food was cold when it was delivered to me, but I don't think this is a problem with the restaurant, probably the fact that it was delivered. Will be reheating my food next time!I ordered the classic burger ($9.95). As someone who eats meat, I definitely didn't miss having meat in this burger. The flavors in the burger were good. The sauce especially was very tasty. The pickles in the burger were phenomenal. They had the perfect balance of vinegar and sweetness, and were wonderfully crunchy. My one complaint about the burger is the bun. It wasn't warm and soft like the buns for burgers from other places. It's like if you made toast for breakfast, but forgot about it until dinner. The bun definitely suffered as a result of getting cold. The fries ($4.50) I ordered were also cold. The cut was nice and thick, which I enjoy. They're not heavily salted, so I could really taste the fluffy potato inside. I ordered mine with the chipotle aioli, which was a little tangy for my taste, but it had a pleasant amount of heat. If they were warm, they would definitely be crispyI also ordered an apple pie cookie ($4.00). The temperature didn't matter with this. The apple filling was only in the middle of the cookie, so you had a crunchy outer ring and chewy middle of the cookie. The powdered sugar on the outer rim was nice and really helped make that part tastier. The filling had the texture of actual apples ( like if you tried to make homemade apple sauce), so it was nice. I didn't find the cookie tasting like apple pie, but its a good cookie nonetheless.

Almost every time I've been here, it's taken over 20 minutes to be served. Never busy. Employees seem slow and lazy.

I used to go to the Beatnic in West Village a lot so I decided to go to this location. Got food poisoning from the Quinoa Taco Salad which I regularly get and never had a problem with. It was really packed during lunch hour so I'm thinking maybe there was some sort of issue in food preparation.

Several months ago, in the dead of winter, we walked past this place and there was one of those inflatable things out front, indicating a new place was open or about to. I was intrigued; the tall tube blowing in the wind had sort of a head of hair - it was funny-cute! So when it did open and I learned that it was a vegan fast-food place, I knew someday would be the right time to try it (I'm not a vegan, but some family members are, so it's good to have this available when they visit). Today was the day, as we walked by on our way home from a doctor on the west side. I chose "The Guac Burger," a lentil and pea protein patty on a whole grain bun with some guacamole, some chipotle aioli, some corn salsa, lettuce, tomato, onion. Not spicy but has a small hint of heat. Crunchy top bun; at home I peeled off some of the bottom part that was a bit soggy. All the veggie accompaniment gave it a nice texture and flavor. Definitely glad it's what I chose! They also have salads, other sandwiches, and sides, plus beverages, so it's a place I'd go to again. Enjoy your lunch!

Ordered Beatnic off of my work's Fooda app and enjoyed an amazing lunch! I ordered the Tahini Dream salad and it had lots of amazing flavors and textures. I loved that it had both crispy cauliflower AND falafel bits. Also, the dressing was amazing - I'm glad that I got extra on the side. I hope that my company offers this restaurant again!

My colleagues and I ate here today and found the food very delicious. I had the peanut crunch salad, and my coworkers had the BCB and Guac burgers. All were really delicious and will be adding to the lunch rotation!

Their food used to be good in the beginning. But now you can tell they make food with no love, all about the money hustle and pushing out basic food. They pushed Chloe out who was the heart of that business and changed their name to d*** beatnic in an attempt to act like they rebranded themselves.. the fans who have been eating there since the first location know they truth and can taste a difference. The vibe is so different too, it used to be so cute and authentic and now it feels like a chipotle. Never ever ever going back- and that's hard to say as a vegan since I appreciate fully vegan establishments.

The Classic Burger was great! On the lighter side, but the sweet potato and regular fries(I got half/half) were a good filler. The beet ketchup was good, but I couldn't get over it being purple...no Heintz to be seen here. I was looking for "healthy" and I found it! Will definitely be back! The chocolate chip white chocolate raspberry cookie was the best I've had in a very long time.
