“We stopped by on a VERY special trip with my 78-year old mother and were treated like royalty. Special thanks to Dante and Lindsay for their INCREDIBLE customer service and, of course, Chef Yoon for the most delicious and beautiful chocolate and marzipan confections I've ever had--and I've been fortunate to have sampled from around the world. Make a point to try Stick with Me whether online or while in NYC--you will not be disappointed!”

“Ray is an East Village celebrity. Originally from Iran, Ray jumped overboard a Navy ship to swim away to a new life in the United States. He started the shop in the 70s and has been around ever since. Even when Ray recently sustained an assault, he went right back to work. This institution offers various soft serve, fries, fried Oreos, hotdogs, chili dogs, egg creams, onion rings. Any number of fried foods one might eat after a drunken soirée. Someone commented on his Instagram page, “no one has seen me drunker than this man.” Most things are 7-10 dollars, though there are a few things that are more expensive, like 16 dollars or so. Pretty sure Ray is cash only. Ray still works the spot. He’s about to turn 91. If you want to see him, get on with it. New York changes all the time. One day you might show up, and Ray will be gone. Don’t miss your chance to experience this icon.”

“There is something adorable about a shop that specializes in incongruous antiques such as vintage smoking items, lighters, and ashtrays as well as vintage games and candy.Named after the owner's dog this little shop is mighty. You may not realize what you need from this shop but if not a Dunhill lighter perhaps the Mad Magazine board game? Perhaps just a snack of some vintage candy and a Bazooka gum-flavored soda. You won’t know until less you go. So just walk in, this shop doesn’t disappoint”

“Huge selection of coffees. There is no seating inside. However, there are two benches in front of the coffee where you can enjoy your coffee to go... A small house cafe costs $2.4 $9 in size S to go. Here you can choose between light, medium and strong versions.”

“Most of the guys are friendly, and happy to be of service. A little expensive, great deli bread and sandwiches. Please tip the grill worker, him by himself is the reason for 2 of the 4 stars.”

“I stopped by this location after perusing the website. This fancy candy shop has all the gummies that one could ever want. From mango to banana to strawberry champagne..they've really got so many unique flavors. I purchased a couple of items including the birthday cake cookies and lemon shortbread cookies. I love that they have cocktail flavored gummies as well. The nice gent at the counter let me know about the deal going on and I was delighted to also receive the strawberry milk chocolate bars in addition. The cubes are about $9 for the smaller sizes and $22 for the large. If you're looking for a sweet gift to give, boxes can be customized and created for special occasions. The packaging is elegant and tasteful.”

They even got the best choices. Just ask for anything in mind, they will have it for you on your next visit :) .”

“I love Harlem Chocolate Factory! The chocolates are unique, delicious and memorable, and are worth the trip from wherever you happen to be in the city. I have gone out of my way on multiple occasions to visit during their opening hours just to purchase their truffles, and I often bring folks with me or purchase their chocolate for others. The response is always the same (some version of "omg these are amazing!"). The staff is also lovely and lively - I have yet to meet a sad or sulky person working the counter. It's a small shop but an enjoyable experience. I have tried virtually everything they sell except maybe a few of the bars, and I have not once been disappointed. Try them and thank me later.Parking: There is no dedicated parking - there is street parking and a few paid garages in the area.”

“Exploring a candy store in New York is like entering an enchanted world, where every treat is a masterpiece and every bite is an unforgettable experience.I soon came across an artisanal ice cream counter, where a skilled ice cream maker was meticulously preparing my orders. Watching the process was a true lesson in culinary art.As he masterfully mixed the ingredients, the ice cream began to come to life, transforming into an irresistible masterpiece. The ice cream maker then transferred the mixture into a crunchy cone. The result was a true work of edible art, ready to be enjoyed. When I tasted the fresh ice cream, I was transported to a world of intense flavors and perfect textures. Each spoonful was an explosion of flavor, a harmonious blend of sweet and creamy that made my taste buds dance with happiness. In addition to ice cream, the store also offered a multitude of other delicacies, from Belgian chocolates to homemade cookies and colorful macarons. It was impossible to resist the temptation to try a little of everything. My visit to the candy store in New York was truly a unique sensory experience that sparked my passion for cooking and left behind delicious memories that I will carry with me forever.”
