If you are interested in international products that are not easy to find in Manhattan, you may be able to find it here. Asian, Balkan and Middle Eastern cuisine focused, for clarification. They also have good representations of supermarket staples such as freshly made cakes, hot food bar, and a good selection of produce. Pricier than even Whole Foods for the items that WF also sells, so you may want to buy the necessities here and continue your shopping at other supermarkets.

Amish is a very special supermarket. There are many exquisite products here, such as their fish roe, which my wife particularly likes. I personally like their peanut butter, there are many varieties and it tastes good. Also their homemade coffee beans are very good.

Celebrating 3 King’s Day (6 January). Did not have enough energy to go to the parade…Next year, ojala.Instead, went to the Amish Market for some special treats; not too crowded (for once)

This is an update to a unfavorable review left a few years ago. Customer service has improved. Of course, cleanliness of the market, it's selection and prices matter, but if the customer service and employee moral is weak, it's a deal breaker. This market is beautiful. Selection is top notch. A very cozy and warm atmosphere.I feel more comfortable shopping here than initially. The cashier's have been polite, warm. It's my go to market for produce, most times.

Took some apples home to fine they were so old the centers were going brown. Soft and mealy. I tried eating them only to have my stomach turn into a hard cider cask.Overpriced and lacking in anything I had purchased at their location on the East Side. Also had good luck with their location in the Financial District.Seem to be service a market that I do not share any tastes with.

The quality is pretty good in this store overall and they have a lot of unusual items. The prices aren't super cheap but it's convenient to me so I've gotten used to it.
