I just recently was informed about this post. I'm sorry I had no idea if somebody was unhappy with something that I did. I always continually strive to do the best absolute job that I can. If this person had tried to contact me I'm sure I would have taken care of any issues related to his installation. I always use the best materials available and continue training and educating myself on ways to do things better. If Mike B. is out there and gets this message and if there is any way that I could rectify this even though some time has passed I'm willing to make it right or help out in some other way. Remember I'm only human too. Jim

Disappointed. I've sent alot of work to Jim over the years and my last few referrals came back to me with mixed reviews. I preferred to send work to Glassy over his competition because of his use of quality window film. He still uses a recognized brand film which will last longer over the years vs a knock off brand. Well this time I was the referral and can attest to the current caliber of his work first hand. First off his prices are a good amount higher than his competition. This isn't a problem when the quality work is there because when you take a brand new car to someone you want the work to appear as close to factory as possible. My vehicle was priced $60 more than his competition and I gave him a $10 tip. The vehicle was picked up after business hours when I noticed some of the issues my referrals were stating. Window film is applied wet and a great amount of care has to be taken to assure dirt and debris doesn't end up between the film and the glass. A small spot here or there is expected and I wouldn't be complaining but on one of my windows there is a crease from to much pressure being used when applying. There also is a scratch in the glass and a large amount of dirt in 2 of the small windows. Did I expect it to look factory? No, but pretty close to it but a scratch in brand new glass from a dull razor and a crease isn't cool. So if you're in the market for a window tint job I think it's safe to say I'd inquire elsewhere. It's a shame because Jims work used to be top notch but if the care in his work isn't where it once was there is no reason to justify the significant price difference between him and his competition. If your wondering why I just don't call him and have the problems fixed its because he has earned a reputation of not returning phone calls for warranty work so I won't waste my breath.
