To say that this store sucks would be an insult to suckIng. They frequently advertise things that they haven't stocked in months, their prices for eggs are the highest anywhere in the area, and I always run into a problem when I'm checking out. There is never a time when a correct price fails to ring up, a digital coupon fails to register even with the additional ridiculous purchase they require in order to use the digital coupon. Service is glacial, they never have enough registers open. I used to go to the ShopRite in Newburgh on North Plank, closed almost 2 years ago. Since then I've had to drive significantly more than double the distance to get to this ShopRite, which is the closest. Even so, it will be worth me driving to Montgomery just to never have to come back to this store. The store opens at seven but customer service at the courtesy desk doesn't open until eight and there is almost never a time when I come to this store when I don't have to go to the courtesy desk to deal with an issue so I can get my order and leave.

This is the cleanest ShopRite I've ever been too! And everybody was super nice! Especially the lady who went crazy looking for my cauliflower sandwich wraps! ( sorry I didn't get ur name)

And now they want us to sign up for digital receipts. That way we won't realize we were overcharged for items until well after we get home and are less inclined to have it corrected. No way.

I hope the loser named Ray in LP is ready to get hit with a huge lawsuit and criminal charges. Maybe Shop Rite should start following NYS laws. This Shop Rite Cop, who makes $15 per hour created a huge seen and cursing me out while in the store and not stealing ANYTHING. After he put his hands on me and threatening me, I left the store with no merchandise. This douche decides to call the police when I cursed him out, and he followed/chased me off the property, across 3 more property's and even across Route 94. First of all Ray, be prepared for me to ruin you. You broke several laws, including filing a false police report and you can not chase nor threaten. I hope you get fired because Shop Rite will also lose quite a bit of money because of your reckless actions. Just because your napoleon syndrome ego got hurt when you were wrong and I did not steal a thing, but filing a false police report is illegal and chasing me, especially across a highway while threatening me, a customer, not a thief, is going to ruin your life in civil court. I promise you Shop Rite and Ray with his $15 LP Super douchebag Cape, your ignorance is not allowed in New York State. What if I was hit by a car?? There was probably people actually shoplifting while your ego got butt hurt bc you were wrong. See you in Court!!!!!!

Ok I rarely review supermarkets and maybe it's time I started. When I first moved to the hudson valley I hit this place a few times and I was just not impressed. Well things change they remodeled, upgraded and stepped up their game big time. Things are incredible now in the vegetable area, the deli counter, the cheese area all top notch it makes you feel like you are at whole foods and not a local ShopRite. It's well lit, kept very very clean and the staff is very friendly. I love to visit and I love to shop here.

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY ABOUT THE DELI DEPARTMENT I JUST WANTED TO SHOUTOUT ONE OF THE WORKERS IN THAT DEPARTMENT:His name is , Laz.When I do go to ShopRite and he is working that day I always wait for him to take my deli meat orders.He is SUPER fast , & knows his way around the deli department. He's always smiling , & very friendly.I was always impressed with how fast he cut the meats and how fast he would get customers orders done.Highly recommended.

Absolutely disgusted! I was in the process of checking out and all I heard was this young girl getting SERVERLY Reprimanded for another employee calling out, she had no control over something like this. The older woman was extremely unprofessional to the point I wish I stepped in. If you wish to "discipline" someone do it in an office, not in front of customers.

Expired kombucha. Yuck. I pointed it out to someone at customer service and they shrugged, "don't buy it if you don't want to". Gee thanks. Sometimes the store is easy to shop and sometimes it's a giant mess. There are two other grocery stores within 0.5 miles of here so no need to return here for lousy customer service. The bathrooms are also absolutely gross here.

Shoprite vails gate is getting worse and worse. The don't have advertised sale items. Today we got cottage cheese that expires tomorrow and and yogurt that was expired from 2 weeks ago. They are dropping the ball and don't check anything this is supposed to be a easier way of shopping but it's more difficult.
