Really amazing little Mom and Pop Pharmacy they do what they can to help you out they are always polite it's always very very clean nice and quiet and calm and the pharmacist and staff are efficient knowledgeable and extremely nice

I have been using Medicine Chest Pharmacy for YEARS and recently(through no fault of theirs) have had no choice but to use other BIGGER pharmacies(with all the ONLINE bells and whistles).Which brings me to this review bc MEDICINE CHEST is SO FAR SUPERIOR TO EVERY OTHER PHARMACY I've had to use recently.I not only recommend the M.C.,I URGE everyone to see for themselves bc I cannot believe how impersonal,over complicated, empowered and (this pains me to say bc they are in the business of healing)uncaring the BIG CHAIN PHARMACIES actually are/feel.

Current state law says everyone must wear a mask indoors in New York State, effective December 13, 2021 in places such as grocery stores, hardware stores, etc and since the health commissioner defines ‘indoor public place’ as ‘any indoor space that is not a private residence’, I would think yes, especially pharmacies….Yet County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus thinks that he knows better and says he is not enforcing the law in Orange County...and this pharmacy is following suit. No one is wearing masks here, not the staff or the manager/owner or whoever is in charge, who gets testy and confrontational when you complain to him about his no-mask policy.You can be fully vaxxed and boosted, as I, my wife and her sister are, but with the omicron variant, breakthrough cases are occurring with far greater frequency, especially if you are over 60, as I, my wife and her sister are, which is why even though we are vaxxed and boosted, we follow CDC guidance and where masks in indoor public places, all of them.Why a pharmacy, of all places, would choose to flout this guidance is beyond me. And what about OSHA: are all of his employees really on board with this?And finally, they ask for your government-issued medicare card or they won't vax you. Undocumented immigrants will not have this ID, and my understanding is that everyone is eligible to get vaccinated, including undocumenteds, so is this place is running afoul of that regulation as well?I came here for the first time a month or so ago, I thought that it was a cute throw-back sorta place.And it is, just also in ways not desirably nostalgic. We will stay far away.
