This place is great! Tom the owner is super professional, friendly, and helpful! They put all four tires for me really quick and just the atmosphere and vibes is so calm and comfortable. I definitely recommend this place!

Avoid this shop like the plague. My mother went there for an AC problem. The mechanic, Carmine, claimed he can fix it. Found out the hard way he doesn't have the proper tools to find leaks and properly diagnose an AC system. That wasn't explained beforehand. He charged up the system and did do a diagnostic discovering the compressor will turn on by adding refrigerant. He then failed to find the leak. He suggested my mother drive it around, which is not the way you fix an AC issue.He charged her 160 dollars and failed to fix anything. When I called and asked why, he said he diagnosed the compressor and worked over and hour. When I told him my mother came in to get to fixed and she drove off without working AC he became mad. When I probed further if he had the right tool to find the leak, he became enraged and walked away from my mother standing next to him. NO refund was offed for his lack of tooling and confidence he could successfully find the leak. He should have provided a caveat while quoting the job of his AC limitations. Basically, I caught him in the act of ripping off a female senior citizen. Let the buyer beware.

It was such a comfortable experience. I felt like I'd been going to the shop for years ! I have been a German car enthusiast for decades. Mostly Mercedes and Porsche. I am fairly new to the area and I have been screening local "European specialists". I am a machinery mechanic, I can usually tell if a shop or service has the right experience. By nature I always double check any service on my vehicles. Just one visit was enough to convince me that Tommy has an unlimited knowledge base regarding German autos. All details from torque values to rim repair were identified within an hour or two after drop off appointment. Most of all Tom is humble, honest and he will tell you which route he would take as far as maintenance and repairs. I would highly recommend taking his advice. I am very pleased to say that I've found "my shop".

Top notch foreign car repair shop! Recently took my Jaguar there to have tires installed and an alignment. Ended up having brakes done as well. I have a 996 c4s that I have taken to this shop for a couple of different services and repairs and I can't emphasize enough the level of professionalism Thomas and his team have shown me. Thomas is a straight forward mechanic and won't try to give you the run around like other shops. They have helped me to properly maintain and in some cases improve my car. The only other place I would go is to Porsche themselves but there's really no need when Thomas' shop is just across town.

In my opinion every reviewer should disclose the cars that were serviced at the shop being reviewed, what the repair issues were thought to be in advance of versus after the repairs, and baseline expectations for pricing and turnaround time. Absent such info, a reader has no accurate sense of the reviewer. With that in mind, my family and I have been Porsche owners since 2005, having owned a cayenne S, 2 cayenne turbos, a heavily modified 996 c2, a 991 911 GTS, a 2016 Macan S, a 2020 911S and a 2020 cayenne S. Our cars have been serviced at a total of 2 Porsche dealerships, and 3 well regarded non-dealers. With respect to Advanced Automotive, I have never had a single substantive disconnect between what price I expected versus what I was charged, and not a single instance of unexpected and costly repair recommendations. That said, there occasionally can be a longer turnaround time during peak service times, but that has always been disclosed to me in advance. I am happy to provide an unqualified positive recommendation for Tom's integrity, attention to detail, mechanical knowledge and pricing. While not pricey, in my opinion, it is also not a steep discount shop -- But, as I n every aspect of life, you get what you pay for.
