Cute products but do not plan to go back unless my family wants to and won't be entering the store- the second we entered they had two dogs that run over to you, the one dog aggressively barked and jumped up to scratch my leg just for verbally saying hello to it. The owner said to ignore the dog when we walked in, not sure how that's supposed to help indicate its behavior when it runs over to you the second you walk in without a second to process anything. Said that the dog is new. Should not let them walk around or approach customers if they are aggressive. Was afraid to shop so I quickly left.

This place always has beautiful stuff. Every time I've gone in, it's a whole new experience. The owners are very warm and friendly, but not pushy. If you ever need a present and forgot to shop and if you're in the area, you can't go wrong.

Summer girl is the best place ever to go in the summer. Whether you want a refreshing ice cream or a Knick knack they have it all. The owners are so kind and nice and they always greet you with a smile. Great location.

We are weekenders who live close by, and this is our favorite little boutique. There's something for everyone, whether it's candy and ice cream for the kids in the summer or the perfect gifts for just about everyone during the holidays. The owners are kind, sweet people who always have a friendly smile for everyone, and are a great local resource.

One star is too many to reflect the horrible rudeness dealt to customers. I arrived at the door with a dog and was greeted by a friendly dog who clearly owned the shop. He wagged his tail to display his welcoming attitude. His owner growled and barked "you can't bring a dog in here" she said loudly, unkindly while other customers looked on agreeing with her. A conversation ensued about her dogs and cats, all of whom were at the store and none of them wanted a dog in the shop and one customer offered that clearly the cat was in charge. If he meant that a feline ruled with a nasty attitude, he got that right. A simple polite sign at the door asking people not to bring in their pets would have been perfect. Considering it's a knick knack store displaying many signs for sale, the owner I am sure could find a nicer way to deliver her message. This is a beach town in a resort section for tourists and visitors. It's hard to make money when you mistreat your customers. We were in the mood to shop so we went off to Love Lane in Mattituck where dogs are welcomed and we enjoyed a few hours with proprietors who have been raised right.
