Well maintained waterfront area that is supported by the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund. The sign on site also talks about this area as being the first submarine base. There is parking right at the entrance, picnic tables, and a beach area where you can launch water vessels. There is also a small marina and a nearby restaurant. On a beautiful day, you can see a fair ways onto the sound. Well worth a visit if you want a quiet spot for lunch or rest while on the North Fork.

Legend’s is the most charming restaurant with a water view in New Suffolk. The calamari is to die for!!!
