I recently toured Skyline New Rochelle with my mom, and we were both quite disappointed. Despite being marketed as a "luxury" building, it fell short in several areas. I saw a cockroach in the unit, and the overall condition of the building seemed quite rundown. My mom even asked if it was low-income housing, which reflects our impression.
The pool area was poorly maintained, with a woman smoking a Black & Mild near children playing in the water. The grills were dirty, and the lobby had a strong smell of dog urine. Additionally, the concierge/front desk staff appeared completely unprofessional, and I noticed that anyone could walk in and out of the building without any security measures.
On a positive note, Alex, the leasing agent, was very nice, and the gym looked impressive. However, these positives do not compensate for the overall lack of maintenance and the concerning environment. Based on my visit, I would not recommend this place.

Low Class Living
If you're in the market for a low-class experience, look no further than Skyline. From the moment you walk through the front doors, you're hit with the reality of what it's like to live in this place.
**Lobby Woes**
The lobby, which should be the welcoming heart of any residential building, is instead a chamber of horrors. Each day brings a new assault on the senses, with smells ranging from sewage to vomit. It's almost as if the building is trying to outdo itself daily in how repulsive it can be. And just when you think you've gotten used to one stench, a new, even more revolting one takes its place.
**Concierge Calamity**
The concierges, who are supposed to offer a semblance of class and professionalism, instead look like they've been through the wringer. With sores visible on their faces and fake eyelashes barely hanging on, they are a far cry from the polished, helpful staff you'd expect in a decent building. If you're looking for a reminder of how low the bar can be set, just take a glance at the front desk.
**Management Mayhem**
The management here is the epitome of incompetence. Whether it’s their utter failure to address the constant noise from inconsiderate neighbors or their inability to control the hordes of low-class residents that turn the pool into a circus, they miss the mark every time. The so-called amenities, like the pool and BBQs, are overrun by loud, obnoxious groups who think nothing of dragging their entire extended families to take over the space. It’s like living in a poorly managed public park rather than a place marketed as a "luxury" residence.
**Janitor’s Closet Maze**
Ever tried to walk through the lobby in peace? Forget about it. You're constantly weaving through janitors’ closets that seem to have spilled out into every corner. It’s as if the concept of cleaning before or after hours is completely foreign here. Instead, you’re forced to sidestep buckets, mops, and the occasional frustrated staff member trying to clean up the never-ending mess this building seems to produce.
**Good People in Hiding**
There are, believe it or not, some decent people living here. You can spot them sometimes, usually in the elevators, after a long day at work. We’ll exchange weary smiles and eye rolls as we endure yet another chaotic ride filled with whatever craziness the building has conjured up that day. These are the people who, like me, are just trying to get by and survive in this filthy, low-class environment, hiding away in their apartments to avoid the madness that’s taken over the rest of the building.
In conclusion, if you're seeking an example of how low standards can truly sink, Skyline is the perfect case study. But if you're hoping for peace, cleanliness, and a shred of decency, do yourself a favor and keep looking elsewhere. This place is the epitome of low-class living.

The lady who gave us a tour was very nice. She was kind and patient and tried to answer our questions. Unfortunately, the tour experience and the building itself left a lot to be desired. The entrance smells of feces and urine, the elevators make really loud noises, the appliances and the layout are outdated and small, and when we inquired about pest control, we were told mostly roaches. However, we were informed by residents on our way out that due to cheap contracting and overflow of trash, there is a rodent infestation and the smell is coming from live rodents eating the dead ones. This explains the smell lingering in the lower levels a lot more. We will not be renting here. For $3000 rent, we expected a better quality of living.

I have been looking at different buildings in the area and had the pleasure of working with Leasing Agent Alex Martinez to find my new apartment, and I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and hospitality. From the moment I stepped into the office, Alex made me feel welcome and valued. He was extremely detailed in his explanations of the property, answered all my questions thoroughly, and even took the time to engage in great conversation. His friendly demeanor put me at ease, and I felt like I was getting personalized attention throughout our interaction. Overall, I would highly recommend Skyline New Rochelle for a tour. I will definitely be keeping Skyline New Rochelle in mind!

The experience at the Skyline has been a lot more pleasant with the guidance that Alexandra Fleitas “Aly” has provided us. She is quick to answer any emails and will assure she assists with any concerns that we may have. Her pleasant personality makes it easy to talk to her and express ourselves. She assures that she forwards any issues to management/maintenance to help find a solution.

This property by far has nothing luxury about it other than the views. The community room air conditioner has never worked. There is a HORRENDOUS odor of sewage in the lobby that you want to gag upon entry. The pool is always dirty. They barbeque grills are dirty and broken. The patio furniture is in shambles. The elevators never work and the lines just to go up and the wait just do go down have exceeded more than 30 minutes. They do not upkeep the building in a luxurious manor at all. There are broken doors including the entrance door to the lobby. The garage elevator and gate is always broken. When I attempted to rent the community room for an event they only allowed it until 5 pm, but then would rent it out to others during evening hours. Multiple people have moved due to roaches, mice, and gnats. I would not recommend living here at all. Do not spend your hard earned money moving here.
