Just moved here and was super nervous about coming here based on all these negative reviews! For context, my last local USPS was an absolute dream with great customer service, rarely any long queues, and all my mail made it to me and to any destinations I sent them to.
Today, I went in for a weight check for a couple different zip codes and April was very helpful/informative. I asked her about the self service kiosk and apparently I used it incorrectly, which is why I kept getting a really expensive shipping rate.
Anyway, wanted to come here to say it wasn't that bad, but we shall see how things go!”

“I am actually amazed at how consistently excellent my experience at this post office is. The people working here are nice and friendly, they handle things efficiently as possible, they’ve always been helpful at explaining different options to me, they made my passport application go as smoothly as possible, it’s just a great location. Sometimes there’s a line but they handle it as efficiently as can be. Just really great experience here all around.”
“Went here to mail off two packages. The lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful in helping me decide on which envelope to mail my items in. Along with explaining to me the different shipping rates. Also the trip was quick, there was no line.”
“The gentleman that has been there for years is carrying this post office on his back!! He’s the nicest person I have ever encountered that works at a post office. Usually these people are rude and disgusting for no reason. I forgot his name but he is a light skinned black man. I ship packages at least 10 times a week and I specifically stand and wait for him. He should train these incoming employees so they can see how to treat people. Give him a raise immediately!”

“Just wanted to shout out this Greenwich, CT post office and specifically Rashad from the customer service window because they are GREAT! I've been coming to this USPS location for 1.5 years now, and every time I'm greeted with a smile, they are helpful, and efficient in manner. Always appreciated!Also, friendly reminder that being kind to individuals in a customer service role literally takes zero effort on your part. Put kindness out in the world and make someone's day!”
“I love the staff like family and 5 stars aren't enough. I wish people would realize how difficult the year has been for the workers and appreciate their dedication to our community. From October through December they deal with an incredible number of packages. In January they are extremely busy shipping Holiday returns but... in 2020, the pandemic hit and online orders skyrocketed causing them to work at a holiday pace ALL YEAR LONG! Some patrons complain when they show up and the doors are closed but that's only when they are short staffed and the only workers use the time for the lunch break they are entitled to. There's always a sign letting you know what time the doors will open again. If you show up, share a smile and a word of encouragement. They're wonderful people with friendly personalities.”

“Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”

Thank you!. Great customer service. Place is small and you might miss it if not paying attention. Items for shipping (priority/flat rate boxes, labels etc ) are in stock out in the waiting area.”

“Ms Raj and Soo was so sweet and efficient with my passport process. I filled wrong form and she was so kind to guide me through. Asked me questions patiently so she can figure out what I need and was so patient. Godbless!As I was exiting I hear a customer talking rudely to ms raj, I can see why some might have bad experience. Be nice to the staff and they will be nice and go above and beyond for you! They do accept debit cards for passport services. Thank you ms raj and Soo for your service at great neck post office! “Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“Had the best experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. Typically I was going to Dobbs Ferry USPS, but their service is rude and rushed. When I found out about this USPS, I was stoked. Joel was extremely helpful assisting me expedite my passport application. I have even gone at 4:58pm when they close at 5pm and they did not rush me out. They kept a very friendly and supporting environment, which I appreciate. Definitely recommend this location!”
“I have used this Post Office on a regular basis for over 15 years. The staff at the counter are unfailingly polite and helpful. Many have worked there for many years. I have often seen them be very polite and helpful to others, especially to people who had language or other difficulties. I cannot understand why anyone would criticize the staff at this Post Office.”
“This is the best post office because of Justin. A couple of the other reps are nice, But Justin goes out of his way to be pleasant, efficient, friendly and best of all, knows his customers by name. I love it. I love how he greets his customers. It makes all the difference.”
