“It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised! The produce section was amazing and the vegetables fresh and unbruised. I only wish they sold wet dog/pet food.”
“We get our Christmas tree from here every year. It seems to stay fresh a while and we like that they are hanging so you can get a good look. All year they have very good & interesting jarred salsas and sauces and amazing produce. Also probably have the best selection of house plants and potting materials in the area.”
9AM - 8PM
3006 3rd Ave, Bronx“Always my number 1 place to grocery shopping, prices are reasonable, and NO ONE CAN BEAT THEM..... average Supermarket is way too expensive. I GOT 4 shopping bags, 2 plastic backs and one back pack full of groceries for 133.89. Yet in any supermarket same items would had cost me around 250.00 or more.”
“The Gun Hill Road Aldi remains a fun place to shop. And their prices on many items are more reasonable than the local chains.
The fruit and vegetables are fresh although varieties can be limited at times. Many varieties of packaged salads are available. The meat section is fairly well stocked with chicken, beef, pork, and salmon. Cheeses are a fun section- feta, gouda, goat, mexican amongst many more.
There is an ample variety of spaces.
Go early as the store does get crowded. Remember to bring your own bags.”
“Brothers Produce & Fish Supermarket has just about everything you need to create a meal. They have fresh fruit vegetables, provisions, fish, and more. This store has a variety of products, including Caribbean, Latin, and various other international items, to make your dish exactly the way you like it.”
“Best food in all White Plains! The staff from the owner to the food preparation crew are AMAZING, everything is super clean, fresh, and delicious.Wide selection of meals for events, everyone will love it.The fruit jelly dessert is out of this world!!!!”

845 White Plains Rd, Bronx“The place was very clean and organized. The food looked fresh and the price was reasonable. Although it went up a bit, from the last time I was there. Inflation isn't our best friend. ? I don't need a shopping cart because I don't have much to pick up, so it would be nice to have a hand basket. Furthermore, the self checkout is cool. I'm usually in and out.”
“Super helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff of two (and a cute dog!) who truly love their work as purveyors and providers of health food products etc. Dwight is always trying to figure out which products will best serve his clientele, and Ren (hope I’m spelling it right,) is very welcoming, informed, and perceptive. 100% would recommend this long-standing Hastinds-on-Muhheakantuk (aka Hudson) gem.”
“Bayside milk farm is an excellent small business and local staple. Employees are kind members of this community who remember the regulars and are always available to help. Wholesome spot. The guy in the comments talking about non service dogs was probably the person yelling he would write a nasty review in the store when someone had what was clearly a service dog with them minding their own business. Came storming in and out. The place is hygienic people, but also caters to those in need of service animals. Most people in the store smile and wave at the animal legally allowed to be there. All in all fun spot and as a regular felt I oughta defend my local grocer. #BaysideBoys”
“Great little place, convenient and plenty of parking in the lot behind Carlos pizza. The store is clean, prices are very reasonable, decent grocery section with canned and packaged items, plenty of snacks and the young men who work here are very respectful and quick when ringing you up.”

“This a great option for fresh vegetables and fruits. The gardening plants and supplies are also good but pricie. It is worth the convenience for the locals. Staff are cordial and ready to help.”
“Most of the time very good. Staff ALWAYS GOOD . Fried chicken cutlets at deli last 2 times very dry will stay away. FANTASTIC BREAD all the more disappointed in dry cutlets.”

833 Post Rd, Scarsdale“Newly discovered place with a wonderful selection of fruits. My son went in with me. Any place that can introduce a new fruit and get my picky eater child to eat is by far worth the money.”
“Recently started shopping here and very pleased with the ambience and quietness and calmness of the store. It’s not crowded. Parking is convenient. The food / items are excellent and the staff are very helpful. I can’t say enough about the bakery section. Everything is baked locally and delicious. Is little higher pricing than most however it’s well worth it. The store is 6 miles from my home, but I find the experience well worth the trip.”
“Great market. I've been going there for decades. They have the Italian section with cold cuts and cheeses Italian specialties, breads and then they have the produce wide selection Asian and Spanish vegetables, fruits and produce and also your standard. And then they have a great fish market in the back. Price is very competitive and very fresh seafood.”
7PM - 12AM 12AM - 1PM
772 Edgewater Rd, Bronx“Truck driver's I understand your frustration but you have to understand that the Market even though it looks big its not not for 21st century. All the companies has trailers used for storage and they take up docking space so wait times will be long. Up to three day's long at times. Basically just have patience that's it everyone is trying to get you out of there as quickly as possible. If you are an inexperience driver yes you may lose it it's not fast here at the market. Just smile and keep going that's all I can say.”
