I was recommended blood work by the SUNY new Paltz medical center- I came in - my tests were notmal. I got billed $1350 for the service because they filled my insurance wrong. They were then extremely unworkable when I tried to work with my insurance company to cover the cost.

Drove 40 minutes for appointment and their computers were down. They didn't bother to call me and let me know before I drove all the way. They were also very rude about it.

If they didn’t call me in over 20 mins after my appointment time, they could’ve gotten clarification on one of my tests from my dr before their office went on lunch break for the day and I could’ve gotten my blood drawn. Instead they called me in late and now I have to come back another time and came today for no reason. Could’ve been prevented if I was called in at my appointment time, not almost a half hour later.

The hours of operation aren’t great but the staff has always been friendly and on schedule. They are also skilled and gentle.
