Wonderful bed and breakfast with gracious and fascinating hosts. Beautiful, large bedroom and bathroom, lovely porch and grounds to relax in. Kathy and Arnie are great hosts with an abundance of local knowledge and add real personality to your stay. Breakfast was delicious and the hikes they recommended were spot-on. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Paradise in the enchanted forest! I wanted to do something special for my birthday with my daughter and was determined to find the best place and I did! I was greeted by the owner Kathy who's an absolute gift to our world. She made us feel like we were in a home away from home. We felt so safe and had that sleep which is so good you catch yourself drooling hahaha. This bed and breakfast is a sanctuary to us, a place where you somehow become born again. We stayed two nights in a beautiful suite that had a jacuzzi! The room was so clean and beautiful we felt like it was our house! Kathy made the most delicious healthiest breakfast we ever had. Scrambled eggs with goat cheese, spinach and asparagus on the side, delicious toast with butter and peach preserves...an incredible parfait something out of a fairytale. The coffee was delicious! We enjoyed our included meal as we watched the birds and squirrels happily enjoy their breakfast outside. She also has two incredible dogs which you'd never know because you didn't hear a peep from them. We puppy sit for a living and asked to meet them and not only are they amazing guard dogs they are also so loving and sweet! We love them! We were also so close to everything! We hiked Mohonk and Lake Minnesaska and had the time of our lives. We ate at Galvan's for my birthday dinner and it was exquisite! We stayed an extra night because we were so happy and woke to another delicious breakfast...a fancy parfait and a delicious crustless quiche and asparagus and spinach and toast with blueberry preserves and of course coffee and orange juice. We enjoyed thei hammocks outside and beautiful property and are counting the days til we return. We love you Kathy! Thank you for giving me a birthday I will never forget.

We needed a little "road trip" from the shore NJ, up into mountains, NY, to experience the beauty of nature surroundings. Our stay at Moondance Ridge B&B for 2 nights was comfortable & calming & enjoyed breakfasts prepared by Kathy, owner, operator; nice conversations while enjoying the birds garden in view & her suggestions as to places to visit, things to do, while we were here in New Paltz NY. My husband and I stayed here this past weekend for our anniversary and we couldn't be happier. Kathy, the owner, was very attentive. I am gluten-free due to Celiac and she was able to accommodate my dietary needs. The place is very peaceful and immaculately clean. We cannot wait to come back!

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The room was extremely comfortable and the entire place is clean and well kept. We stayed in the room with the large hot tub which was a pleasure to use. Breakfast each day was fantastic and something new each morning. Kathy is a very hospitable host and ensured we were comfortable. 5/5 would definitely return.

If you need an amazing place for anything from a simple getaway to a special occasion, THIS IS THE PLACE! Kathy is one of the the nicest people that you will ever meet. I thought that my boyfriend and I were just going away to a surprise location for a night alone, and it was actually for him to propose. She acted totally nonchalant when we checked in, and then when we left to go to dinner, she set up our whole entire suite… candles, wine, chocolate covered strawberries, rose petals… She set up our hot tub, dimmed the lights, and turned on the fireplace. It was absolutely magical to walk into. The grounds are gorgeous, she makes a delicious breakfast, and she is literally the sweetest person. We already booked the same night next year to celebrate our engagement date. You will not be disappointed!

Kathy was a wonderful host - friendly, flexible, accommodating, and helpful. The property is well maintained and in an ideal location - so close to downtown New Paltz! I’d highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Hopefully when you go they’ll be making the blueberry muffins for breakfast ?

Clean, comfortable and quiet. What more do you need? The breakfast is fresh and feels like it's locally sourced. Bathrooms are spacious and bed is comfortable - not your typical cheap B&B bed. Overall a good stay and we'll be back!

My Boyfriend and I had wonderful stay this past weekend! Facility was clean, grounds are beautiful, Kathy and Arnie were very hospitable and provided a great breakfast and conversation! We loved seeing their 2 dogs and overall had a wonderful experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed time away, location is excellent close to everything you need as well. 10/10

Tranquil and beautiful. Wonderful room, service and grounds. Kathy pays attention to all the small details so you feel pampered. Definitely would have stayed longer if schedule had allowed and will be going back.

It's a beautiful and peaceful place. They greeted us as soon as we got there. I went with my wife for one night and we loved it. The hostess was great and knew where all the good places to go was. Can't wait to go back.

The best bed AND the best breakfast. Literally! Can’t beat the location for convenience to town and all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. But just as nice spending time in the lovely high-quality rooms. Just perfect!
