Livingston Manor location: The first time I went here, it was okay. There was a friendly worker with a service dog and she was nice and helpful. This time, I got to meet the owner…. wow. Really bad experience. I tried to make conversation and she was very disinterested. Seemed like she was drunk or on drugs or something. I picked out a necklace, a ring, and a matching pair of earrings. First red flag- I picked a ring that I loved and asked her how much? she took it and said “oh, that’s mine, that’s not for sale”. I thought that was a little weird, but I picked another. I handed her the pair of earrings I wanted, and paid. When I left the store I opened the bag (thank god I did) and found that she gave me the wrong earrings - and the pair was two completely different styles of hoops! I turned around and went back in, assuming she must have just accidentally put the wrong pair in the bag. But they were mysteriously nowhere to be found. She was so rude. Gaslit me, acted like I was crazy, stared at me like I was stupid…. I finally asked for a refund and she said “ABSOLUTELY” like she couldn’t wait for me to gtfo of her store. She could barely type the right buttons while trying to refund me. Horrible energy. This lady truly does not gaf. Honestly don’t waste your time/energy and save your money for businesses that actually care about their clientele!

Cutest place in New Paltz to buy in- style clothes and jewelry pieces . I have purchased numerous articles of clothing as well as jewelry from them and they are still in great quality after years of being worn. The owner is very sweet as well! Not sure what the negative reviews are about? She is very kind and helpful and we always have a good conversation .

I know I might get some flack for this review but here goes! I'm going to start off with the good because I do actually really like this store and they have some amazing items. It's set up very nicely with lots of great items everywhere in all sorts of nooks and crannies displayed on interesting wonderful items. It's also pretty big so you can take your time to walk around and see everything. It's a fun boutique all in all. My friend and I walked in and the girl behind the counter was on her phone the whole time looking down and did not look up once. Ok, that's fine we don't always need a greeting when walking into a shop. However, there are lots of delicate items and I would think you would want to check in to see if the customer has any questions or want to see any of the items that are placed inside the display cases that have to be opened. There was silence until my friend asked if one of the items were vermeil gold or gold plated. She had no idea and was a bit taken aback by the question but then got up and went behind to look at some sort of book. So we figured she must be looking it up. We walk around some more and about a good 20 mins later we come back and ask her did you find out and her response was, "what?" This time I asked the same question and she responds that she doesn't know and she was just looking up prices. We never asked about prices. It was just so weird and obviously apparent she did not care and was not the owner. All I kept thinking was only if the owner knew how she was handling their store. We did end up purchasing items because like I said earlier they have some wonderful items but the customer service, rather lack thereof was just ridiculous.

Beautiful jewelry and they have many handmade pieces as well. I love the selection, there’s something for everyone here! To me the prices are great since I’ve seen many of the same pieces in a New York City jewelry store for three times the price! This is my go to spot for accessory’s jewelry and holiday gifts. I will not shop in my neighborhood after seeing the selection and prices here :)

It’s unfortunate really. I LOVE this store. They have some beautiful jewelry and it’s plated which is important to me as I have an allergy to some metals.

The boutique is really cute and so are the accessories, jewelry and clothes. It is a bit expensive, but about on par with most boutiques. I ended up buying a really pretty ring. The problem was the attitude of the owner. I asked simple questions but she was clearly bothered and continued her conversation with her own friend. There are plenty of other businesses who express gratitude to their customers, so take a look at those as well as this shop.

Sadly this is not a place togo if your looking for a deal,it's over price and very smug attitude . Most importantly they do not honor refunds only store credit which is a joke in my opinion, since you never know when a business is likely to close. You have exactly 7 days so if your unsure of something I highly recommend just saving your hard earn money and going to the nearest mall for a deal and better treatment.
