You haven't seen all of New Paltz until you've visited CronArtUSA HQ, located in the adorable Water St. Market. Cronin's art, which is quite possibly the most accessible I've ever encountered, is bright, engaging, and speaks volumes about a range of topics, in a playful, almost irreverent way. His wife Melanie, who runs the enterprise, is hands-down one of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met. Likened to a modern day Lee Krasner / Jackson Pollock duo, a visit to the shop is worth the trip just to be able to get to chat with one of the two. Ryan's hand-tailored collection means you get to take a piece of his brain home with you, right down to their new throw blanket collection WHICH IS SO COMFORTABLE. Next time you're in the Hudson Valley, even if you're scared of art, don't be: CronArtUSA is the frontier of visual art: an accessible message to enjoy.

Bunny Blanket caught my friend's eye while we visited the shop in New Paltz. Ampi and Melanie were AMAZINGLY helpful in quickly answering all my questions and shipping the fantastically whimsical and cool blanket to LA as a birthday gift. My best friend and I happened upon the gallery in our day trip to New Paltz and we're sucked in by the whimsical cool of Ryan's work. The bunny blanket caught my friend's eye and when I reached out online to order one because it wasn't on the website, Melanie and Ampi were incredibly helpful in finding me the exact blanket I wanted to send as a birthday gift and expedite it with a thoughtful card inside. They went above and beyond and my friend was ridiculously happy and delightfully surprised to receive her blankArt. Now it's my turn - I have my eye on a couple of things for myself! :)

What a great find! Full of life and vibrant color you can't help but be drawn into the space. Half gallery displaying originals from artist Ryan E Cronin, with other half of space offering unique gifts/items with same but smaller scale artwork. Had the opportunity to talk briefly with artist and really enjoyed his youthful joy for both painting and having people experience his work. Highly recommend you check this place out when you're in New Paltz.

Love Love Love this gallery! You must stop by if you are in town or passing through. Awesome original artwork by local artist Ryan Cronin. They also sell affordable gifts: pillows, t-shirts, hats, socks, mugs - all very unique with different designs. There is always new inventory - I just bought myself a shower curtain for my bathroom - love functional art!
