I had brought my car in for an oil change and asked for them to check the rattling noise that my car was making. I was told it was the belt that needed replacing so I made an appointment and did so. Afterwards, the noise still continued but as I am a busy working college student, I did not have the chance to return just yet. Days later, I'm stuck the thruway at 10:30 PM because my car was overheating after my water pump bursted. So I was falsely diagnosed and had to then replace the belt AGAIN. I never went back so just beware.

Don’t bring your cars here. I had work done on my car at this shop. They wrongly diagnosed my car. Had me pay for services I didn’t need, just for the car to remain with the same issues. I came back and explained that I was having the same issues and they charged me a second time for same exact diagnosis. I payed twice for the same exact problem. And my car still has the same exact issues. I repeat do not bring your car here. I had to file a complaint with the dmv and also the bbb better business bureau. I asked this place to refund me please because the diagnosis of the mechanic didn’t fix my issues. So I payed for services they was not needed. But also didn’t fix the issues. I feel this was a race issue being that I’m a young black man. Now I have to file against this company. NEVER BRING YOU CAR HERE !!!

Needed a battery immediately today. Matt got me in within a half hour. Also fixed a piece of the bumper that was dragging underneath. Excellent shop with outstanding people. Thank You !!!

Usually a very good experience but the last few times haven’t been great. I got a faulty oil change from them and they wouldn’t reimburse me, and basically gaslit me for the issue, saying it wasn’t their fault... Basically they tightened the screw to the oil filter too tight causing it to loosen and leak gas all over the hood. I won’t be coming back here which is pretty sad because all they had to do was own up to the issue.

So grateful for the help from Nancy when we called after hours and Matt for great service and repairs. We hit metal on the thruway at night and left our car with them. Living 1.5 hrs away, we were anxious... but they made all repairs, kept us informed, and did it all at a great price! Thank you all!

180 miles from home and had a screw in front tire that caused a flat on NY Thruway. Absolutely Automative quickly took care of the problem in less than 5 minutes. Fast service, reasonable price and lifesaver. Thank you guys, you are the best.

Absolutely honest and amazing. We were in a major bind…6 hours into a 9.5 hour drive from Md to Plattsburgh, NY, moving our daughter to college.Our GMC was swaying and wobbling out of control on the highway. We pull off 87 to New Paltz. End up at Absolutely Automotive and explain what’s going on. Matt was so amenable and willing to help. We rent a car to finish our college delivery, hoping to return the next day to a fixed car that will take us home. We were so pleased with the service and HONESTY (we could have been taken - given our situation).Would absolutely recommend this shop!
