This is a wonderful for store and a great resource for the area. Don't confuse it with other dollar stores, this store has many quality staples available. No, everything is not a dollar, but in an area were there are not many affordable selections, we go here often. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The store is very clean and well organized.

The Hudson store is disgustingly dirty looking employees are rude shelf's are disarranged and mainly empty. I asked an employee if they had something got ignored 3 times before he answered me with an attitude and when I said something he literally walked away from me great way to keep customers coming I get for elderly people it's close for them to go there and not a busy place at all. But I went there 4 times at different hours and i should have went 5 minutes down the road to Walmart

Sorry if i spilled some of the axe body wash in the parking lot, it wasnt my intention. I find it interesting the sell "knives" and "chemicals" when its "family" dollar. smh

I hate this place, but sadly, it’s the only game in town. One evening, I realized that I needed cat food and stopped only to find the doors locked during their regular business hours. I was told later that they had to unload a truck so they had to close the store. This morning, I ran in to grab a mailing envelope. When I got the cash register, I realized that I only had a $50 bill. I told the guy behind the register that I only had a 50 and asked if that was ok. He gave me a dirty look and said it was ok. He then rung up my order and said $50 for a $1.08 purchase, REALLY??? I said “Excuse me???” “I asked if it was ok and you said it was. I would’ve run out to my car to grab my debit card otherwise.” Totally unacceptable treatment of a customer. And much of the time, the employees are in front of the store smoking and you have to wait for them to finish to check-out. There is usually junk all over the aisles. This place is such a joke.

A life saver. When you forget something and need it right away they always have something to fit the bill. Glad our community has a store like this.
