My daughter (12 years old)first phone. Christopher was awesome. She walk my daughter on setting up the phone and we didn’t even ask him to. He just volunteered. Awesome service.

I am very disappointed with Verizon and this location. I switched to them from a different company, trade in my old phone and paid the difference so the phone would be mine and free; I should pay only for the service. I was promised to pay over $100 for the first two months only and then my payment would be less. Guess what? I never paid less and didn’t even got service because this area doesn’t have coverage for Verizon. A month ago I decided to leave them because of the hidden fees and no service. Now I just got billed the full amount and just to be told that I never brought in any devices and I have to pay the fee until the phone is paid off. On their end apparently shows that I never brought in my own device… and since I left their company they cannot help me anymore….
I am extremely disappointed.. I have all the bills and the box and they keep saying I’m wrong…

I would highly recommend going to the Verizon store in New Hyde Park, NY (614 Jericho Turnpike) and having store manager Chris and his team help with your phone needs. Chris went above and beyond in helping me resolve my issues with my phone. He solved my issue in no time and he is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back to him in the future.

Chris was so helpful! My new phone wasnt turning on and he was able to fix it so quickly. I didnt lose any information and he was able to fix it for me without me going to apple. So grateful! Best service!

It appears that someone (not me) gave himself a stellar review on my behalf. Not a cool thing to do. Deleted the post. Service was adequate. Nothing to write home or Google about. They will try to sell you the sun and the moon, if you’re not careful though.

Visited this local Verizon store to seek assistance tips with transferring photos from my old iPhone to a new one that I had purchased online from Verizon. There were two guys siting there without doing anything or servicing any customer. I approached one of the service guys and explained my situation. Instead of offering helpful guidance or assistance, I was met with a dismissive attitude. The guy informed me that they were unable to provide any tips or assistance unless I have to pay $50. This store doesn't represent Verizon Wireless service attitude, I won't recommend this place to any of my friends.

I am glad this Verizon Store found a home here in New Hyde Park. They are accessible, very helpful, and always willing to offer good tips and advice to maintain my devices. Special kudos to Chris who worked especially hard to help me select a new phone and accessories that suit my needs. I hope this store stays in our community for years to come.

Worst imaginable experience. I ordered my phone through the Verizon Wireless website and selected express store pickup. Everything is paid online and then I am simply supposed to go to the store and collect the phone that is marked as "in stock." I get the email that the phone is ready for pickup. Simple, right? No...On my first trip, the IMEI number I was supposed to get was not the number on the phone they had. It could not be given to me.After 2 hours, I was told the best option was to cancel the order and try it again. However, there was some problem at the store so I was told to reorder the phone again and come the next day to pick it up. Annoying, yes. But things happen.Done. Phone is reordered. Day two, should be a simple pickup. I get there, and after just a few minutes, the manager, Chris, said the phone would be mine. He had no idea why there was a problem the previous day. Right after he marked the phone "picked up" he said it showed I owed $154. I owed nothing since it was all paid through Verizon. Chris acknowledges this and had no idea why it was showing a balance, and suggested I just cancel the order and place it again at the store. However, since it was marking "picked up" already, this was a problem. Shrug from Chris, who suggested calling Verizon at 611. After an hour and a half wait on hold from Verizon, I get repeatedly told nothing could be done since the phone was already picked up. After calling people for 3 hours (meanwhile, Manager Chris just talked to other customers, completely uninterested in helping me), we finally had the order canceled. Chris said he could give me the phone instore for the exact same price. I was extremely reluctant, since I had such a terrible experience, but I really wanted the phone that day since it was for a relative who was leaving on a flight that evening. He assured me it would be the exact same price. I repeated this multiple times with him, since I was beginning to smell a scam. Paid the bill, and then realized it was not the same price. "The store sells the phone for more than the Verizon website."The workers here all seemed to want the order to NOT go through so they can scam customers out of more money. Their whole business seems to me like a scam. Unless they are completely incompetent. I don't know which is worse. Save yourself the aggravation. Avoid them like the plague.

Excellent serviceChris was exceptionally knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I had endless aggravation in regard to my trade in phone. From the second I walked through the door until the job was complete, this was the most pleasant experience I could ever hope for.He is an incredible asset to your business.Hamza is also very pleasant and friendly.I would highly recommend that all phones be purchased at this store.Judith Ackerman

Would not recommend this store. Service is extremely slow. Wanted to switch plans but ultimately decided not to because no one was able to assist me in the store in a timely manner.

Tarun is the most outstanding salesperson I have ever worked with in any capacity. He is highly professsional, personable, knowledgeable, patient, and possesses a refreshing sense of humor. This has been the best location in all of Nassau County and Queens simply because they try their best to solve problems you’ve been dealing with forever from other locations or over the phone. Also, they have an actual information technology person who is awesome and has solved so many problems even outside of Verizon, shout out to RAM my favorite tech guy on the planet !!!
