June 2022 by Radwa Mohamed
I asked him politely how come his supervisor DAVE FELDMAN gave us an estimate that's suppose to be close. His exact answer was, "DAVE is an office guy, he doesn't know anything about trucking or truck space." So, I said, why send a customer someone who doesn't know anything about truck space then. It's not fair to us and I would like to cancel the job as wethought worst case scenario, it will be $6000. Then he said, "it's too late now, your stuff is on my truck, and that doesn't include 5% tips for me and the guys." It took 5 movers from 1 pm to almost 7 pm to move a 912 sqf house that was all packed, and we only had a treadmill and 15 bin boxes in the basement (We had to leave everything in the backyard). We didn't really care about how long they took to finish the job, the problem was we were up to 2200 cubic feet, afteradding fuel charge, taxes, packing material, and tips, we were at about $11,385, not $3600!!! OSCAR demanded 70% deposit, we told him DAVE told us only 50% and it was written in the contract. We told him it wasn't in our budget to pay $12k and we can only give him a check for $5k. He said it will work, but since we are giving him a check instead of cash or money order, they will have to wait until the check clears to start shipping our belongings. We were shocked because we were never told that, and if we knew, we would've made sure we went to the bank before they closed to bring cash. We were very upset, but tried to remain calm and collective, also because this company now has our belongings that has a sentimental value to us, and we wanted it to arrive safely to Florida. Of course we try to contact Dave, message him to get answers from him, he is no where to be found throughout the process. Even though, right before the moving started we were talking about recommending him to family and friends, and that I posted a recommendation with his contact info on a large moving Facebook group because we were very pleased with our initial meeting with him.He was always very responsive, but was no where to be found during the actual moving process. Finally DAVE FELDMAN answers his phone days later and apologized about what happened and he will give us $200 discount. At this point, we don't care about pennies off when we are paying almost $12k. We realized we were scammed, but thanked him for the discount, and left it at that because we wanted our belongings to arrive undamaged and on the dates agreed upon. Now, we have been calling them since the 23rd of June almost everyday to get an update, but have been given nothing but the runaround. On the contract itself, the company's address is in San Diego, CA, but we were told that we have to contact their office in the Bronx, New York because they are the ones holding our truck. Finally DAVE FELDMAN returns our calls and gets the owner of the New York office on the phone, RACHEL COHEN. We couldn't understand anything he was saying as he was yelling and talking over us the whole time. He was telling us the check hasn't cleared on their end even though, it was taken out of my account the next day (June 18th.) We told him they are pushing us to report their company to the BBB. RACHEL COHEN said, "go ahead report it," and didn't seem to care about their company's reputation. We left off at, the truck will be loaded on the weekend (June 25-26th), and it will be shipped on Monday June 27th. We tried to call to confirm that it was shipped and again no one was answering us. We had to call the San Diego office and asked to speak to someone who oversees the New York office. We spoke to their operational manager ADAM DAHAN, who is the only decent person we spoke to at this company and tried to help us to resolve the situation. We told him that almost every time we try to reach DAVE FELDMAN, he says that he's in the hospital and just hangs up the phone on us. We understand that he might have health issues, but we needed someone to handle our issues with their company.

This is one of the worst moving companies I have every dealt with. So let’s begin. I signed up several month prior to our move and told them most things that where in my home. After explaining to the guy I had a big home 5k sq ft he told me that I didn’t need a large moving truck. I said okay assuming he knew what he was talking about. Right before the move i called back to ensure everything was correct and to adjust somethings since we decided to keep some items. When we started going down the list of items that the last rep. Did a lot of stuff was missing. Now this is my fault b/c they do send you a list for you to verify and I had just assumed that b/c we just Went over all the items why would i need to verify again (lesson learned). So after we made all adjustments and me asking the lady do i need a bigger trailer she said no I should be fine; then she hits me with the new bill $3k more. Now in this business I did expect this b/c I’ve heard these companies have a lot of issues durning estimates. So next I get a call 2 days prior to us moving from the sub contractor All points moving Moving. STAY AWAY!!!! THEY DON’T EVEN HAVE A WEBSITE B/C OF THE BAD REVIEWS THEY TOOK IT DOWN!!!!!
When they showed up everyone was professional and I had no issues there. When the guy walked the house with me he said why did they schedule you with 2 smaller trucks, when you need a trailer. I told him that I told the person on the phone that and he said never call these brokers b/c they have no idea what they are talking about. Later that morning I get a call from the manager/owner Tom. He asked if we could be ready for delivery on that Friday. I told them that I would have to check to see if the place we were going into was going to be ready. He says ok great just let me know this evening or tomorrow morning so I can hold your spot. The next morning I called back and he said it’s to late I gave up your spot since you didn’t call back. Well that didn’t turn out so well. My wife took time off since we expected the furniture to be delivered by that date.
After day 2 of packing and all my stuff is on the truck they gave me the bill it was another $7k more than what I was quoted by Plymouth.... The mover says it would have been a lot cheaper if they gave you the big trailer... I told him that I’m not paying that b/c now your trying to rob me. He called his manager Tom and he gave me a discount of 1,200 est. Now don’t get me wrong that was nice of him but I started at 11,400 now I’m at 21K really???
After they get here to unpack our belongings the drivers show up but can’t unpack the truck b/c they didn’t have any help. So we had to wait another day to get our belongs.
Now they we are going through our items we are missing a lot of stuff. Shoes (I’m collector 17-20 pair gone), my id’s in my drawer, head phones, play stations, computer server. This is just bad. There are a lot of boxes with 3-4 items in it (ie salt and pepper shakers and napkins, in a large box). This is how they scam you. Now, they have no idea what I’m talking about and they only pay .60 per lb if something is missing. So let’s say the play station is 5 lbs they will only give me $3 for it... really!!!!
STAY AWAY FROM BOTH OF THESE COMPANIES... HAVE SOMEONE COME TO SEE YOUR HOME TO GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE!!!!

I asked them to ship from Houston TX to Ontario, Canada, and I paid 600$ deposit. They told me later that my shipment registered to go to Ontario, California and they don't ship to Canada and we are not returning the deposit. When I called them first time, I confirmed that the shipment is going to CANADA. I asked to speak with the same agent who spoke to me first time, they said we don't have an agent with this name. The supervisor was extremely rude and impolite.

Two Stars for their relocation service and ZERO stars for their customer service. We have used the services in August'17 . Service was OK .But we were double charged almost 720$ and they promised(Have mails and Voice Mails) to ship a check within 4 weeks , Which never came . We have been trying to contact them for last 8 months . They wont operate in winter time, So made us to wait for the Spring time to connect to theirs back office. Now every time whenever we call customer care we have to explain the whole story and then call goes to hold for indefinite time. Maximum time we were waiting on being hold was 37mins but had to drop off after that . We have screenshots of call logs will share the screen shots.

This company by far is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Sebastian Shaw “ quoted†me a move for both my belongings as well as my vehicles and when the movers came in the informed me that they now needed an additional $2000 dollars in order to move my belongings because apparently Sebastian failed to list things i had given him when they did an over the phone inventory. To make matters worse, I had to call them several times the day before my move was schedule as they never called me to provide me with a time for my vehicle pickup and after several times being put on hold and given the run around I was told that the carrier had a truck issue and that they are now not picking up my car. I asked to get a carrier phone number in order to see what can be done and no info was provided. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!????

GREAT customer service, I signed up on accident on an online website so I wasn't expecting to get a million calls like I am currently. But one of the first calls I spoke with a fellow named Justin Moore, the best conversation I've had over the phone in a long time, he helped me decide what to do for my upcoming move and he ended up saving me a TON of money. As a college student who can barely afford rent with two jobs, I truly appreciate his advice! I recommend talking with them for the best options for any upcoming move!

We used Plymouth Relocation Services to move furniture. Everything went perfectly according to plan - even got a call that the truck was on the way in the AM. The team was professional from start to finish and treated all our furniture like it was theirs! They were also very accommodating in arranging to take some extra items not on our original invoice. These guys go the extra mile and I plan to use Plymouth Relocation Services to move the remainder of our belongings later this year. Thanks for a wonderful move!!

Used Plymouth for my move from VA to TX and everything was exactly as promised. They delivered my stuff last night. delivery was on time. Everything arrived in one piece and the price was as quoted. The sales guy who shared my name was knowledgeable and the crews that showed up were polite and efficient. Great job guys!

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. We own a company in the service professional field. We were under quoted and when they came the fee doubled. We were moving my mother and we told the person on the phone that she had large furniture and would like them to quote on the high side as we were doing it blindly. We did expect a little larger charge as we did have more items but our cost more than doubled. We asked multiple times if were were going to tip them or buy them lunch. Totally unprofessional.

I waited a while to write this review because I wanted the whole moving process completed before saying it was a good experience. (Which if you don't feel like reading further- it was, yes- a very good experience) I relocated a little over a year ago from NJ to NM. I had a good mover who did the job right and we were very impressed. I tried to hire the same company to move us again to NY (we definitely didn't plan on having to move again so soon but my hubby had to move due to work relocating him) So when we found out the company we used before was no longer open we got very nervous about starting to find another company to trust. We are well aware of the horrors that can ensue with a moving company. So we started the process again of looking for a mover. We spoke to all the different companies on the phone, as they each tried to sell us. When speaking with the people at Plymouth Relocation, we felt there was a level of honesty that lacked in the other companies we spoke with. The price was right, and the salesman was very knowledgeable and informative. We took the plunge and hired Plymouth to do the move. Now the pickup went very well- professional crew of 4 men who expeditiously blanketed and loaded our items. They were friendly and courteous and made us feel comfortable about moving forward with them. We felt they treated our furniture and boxes with care and tipped the guys after a job well done. We did go into their storage for some time while we waited on our house to be ready (we were staying in a rental for almost 2 months). We called the company as soon as we found out the date of completion on the house and they said they would start delivering our items to us. Delivery from that point took a total of 2 weeks for an almost 2000 mile drive. We expected it would be more like 3-4 weeks so that was also a pleasant surprise. We recently received the delivery at our new house- and we were just as satisfied with the quality of work as at the pickup in NM. Professional, polite crew that treated our items with care. They assembled furniture pieces in our house, put all of the boxes in the designated rooms, and left us with a pleasant experience. We have now officially gone through all boxes and everything was delivered and in one piece. I can't believe I was able to strike gold twice, but this company is the truth- no games, no hassle, and very friendly staff from start to finish. Glad to have found them- if I (god forbid) have to move again which I pray we do not- I would hire them again. Recommended for those who don't feel like dealing with incompetence.

I am very upset and frustrated by Plymouth moving company! At the beginning of the contract signature, the representative is very positive for your requirement. After they collection $500 deposit, the company service attitude is rude and too bad.

They did such a great job! We didn't anticipate moving so quickly and they were able to book something with us quickly. We plan on moving them again soon to move again. Moving homes is not fun but Plymouth Relocation Services makes it much easier!
