I am very pleased with Ivy Rehab of New Hyde Park. I went there for post-surgical therapy for about five months and had an excellent result. The majority of my sessions were with Noah, who was outstanding. He was genuinely concerned with how I was feeling (before, during, and at the end of each session) and what I could tolerate, while still pushing me to do more and get the best possible outcome. I also worked with Jennifer and Katie - both great too. Everyone in this clinic - the front desk staff, aides, assistants, and therapists - was friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.

I started going to Ivy Physical Therapy after a total knee replacement in February. My knee has made significant improvements every day since and I’m giving the therapists that worked on me the credit they deserve. They all work well together and make sure that I am doing the exercises correctly. Straighten your leg more, point your toes back, etc. I’m also giving recognition to an intern there , Ron, that provided exceptional advice and guidance. Thank you

My patient experience with the physical therapy was good. My patient experience with billing after my treatment was completed has been horrible. I was recommended to Ivy rehab by Dr. Fernando Checo, who is in the same building as your Plainview location. I went in there toward the end of April 2023, showed them my healthcare card and they told me they were in network, and that my co-pay would be $30 per visit. Over the ensuing 4 months I went there 34 times (34 times!!!!) and each of those 34 times they told me my copayment was $30. Then in September, AFTER my treatment was completed, I got a bill from Ivy for over $1600, saying that each visit, my co-pay should've been $75 and not $30. In none of the 34 times that I came for treatment did anybody tell me my co-pay was not $30. At no time was I told by anyone at Ivy that I had a balance outstanding. At no time before September did anyone send me a bill stating that my co-pay was more than $30. Recently someone in billing said they sent me an invoice in July and one in August notifying me of the higher copayment. That is just not true!!!! If I had received that, I would've stopped treatment immediately and your local people would have started asking for $75 copay for the seven appointments in July and 9 appointments in August. When I got that shocking bill in September, I called the number on the bill and was told they would do an investigation and I never heard back from them. When I got another bill toward the end of the year, I did likewise and was told they would do an investigation and they would get back to me. I never heard back from them either. Now I received a letter threatening to turn it over to collection and to sue me. I've never been sued for nonpayment and never been referred to collection. Please feel free to check my credit rating. It is stellar. My balance should be zero

I highly recommend Katie! She truly helped me in my recovery after a car accident. She was always patient and adjusted my needs as we moved forward in my treatment. She always helped to make me feel better and really worked my spasms and muscle pains. She was always open to trying new things to help in my healing. She was always pleasant and knowledgeable! Thank you Katie!

Give you hard time to get a certificate for my disability claim purposes, it’s been 2 weeks and it will only take a minute to give a piece of paper for that certificate requirement I need !

Noah at Ivy Rehab is an exceptional physical therapist who truly goes above and beyond. His professionalism is evident from the moment you step into the clinic, where he welcomes you with a warm and friendly demeanor that instantly puts you at ease. One of Noah's remarkable qualities is his ability to tailor treatments to individual pain levels. Throughout my six months of therapy, he consistently adjusted tasks and exercises to match my comfort and capability, ensuring progress without unnecessary discomfort. His attentiveness to my needs made every session not just productive but also surprisingly enjoyable. All of the staff there ( can't name them all as I would probably miss someone and I don't want to do that) is helpful and kindUnder Noah's guidance, I've experienced tremendous improvement in my physical well-being. His expertise and personalized approach have led to noticeable results, leaving me feeling stronger, more mobile, and incredibly satisfied with the progress achieved.I highly recommend Noah at Ivy Rehab for anyone seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate physical therapist. His commitment to his patients' well-being is truly commendable, and I'm incredibly grateful for the positive impact he's had on my journey to recovery.

Front desk has no idea on insurance and copayment you have to pay. They advised me when started and middle of treated that there was nothing i had to pay, This way they can set up more visit for and make more money. After few months they state i have balance in account. They stated it was third party and made a error and now it was fixed. Totally misguided by front desk people. People please beware.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Front desk is very rude and unprofessional, they give you wrong and other patients information and then have an attitude with you. The physical therapist are very prejudice and made me feel uncomfortable, they wouldnt assist me but paid alot of attention to the white customers. I would say hello and goodbye and be blatantly ignored. They never contacted me to see why I stopped coming, and good thing because if I went back there a next time I would of fought someone . Dont go here! They need new management and entire work team.
