Recently went to ulta not knowing what i was looking for or where to start. Typically when I go I don't get much help, but two employees from the newhartford store Marlee and Sadie took me under their wing and got me an amazing combination of make up. I tried it all on this past weekend and I LOVED it. These girls are amazing!

I came in to find a foundation and concealer that would be a better match for my complexion and skin condition. Marlee was more than happy to help me find the right shades and even showed me how to apply them to get the best results. She absolutely made my day and I am thrilled with my new products!! Thank you Marlee, you are a wonderful human!!

The store and staff are great, but when it comes to the salon, different story. There was only 1 stylist that truly knew what she was doing and was amazing! (She no longer works there). The rest of the stylists are not good. This review was long overdue, speaking on behalf of myself and family & friends. Do not recommend if you want even decent work done.

I went into Ulta looking for a new concealer and I definitely needed help finding the right shade. One of the employees, Olya, really took the time to show me a couple of concealers and tried multiple shades on me to help me find the right one. She was very helpful and informative about the products. She even recommended a couple of other products to me that I was looking for as well! I’ve never had someone really take the time to talk to me about products the way she did, so I was very happy with the experience :)

I had to pick up my wife’s online order. It was an easy process. The staff member was cheerful and polite and asked for my ID to prove it was me. I like that security measure to prevent theft and orders going to the wrong person. It’s SUPER bright in there. The brightest store I’ve ever been in.

HELP ! ever since i have gotten my brows done by marlee s. they have been falling out and patches of bald! i even told her keep the shape and thickness she then went ahead to curve my eyebrows more!!! mine aren’t shaped like that! i would really love it if someone could offer me something! i have to now go to the dermatologist for my eyebrows on top of already loosing my actual head of hair! what a joke!

I received a service from Penny O. Not only did she have me handing her the foils in order to color my hair but she did not strand test, or wash out the product I had in my hair before applying the bleach. All of the above are against state regulations. My haircut was given while half wet and half dry, resulting in random chops that are unfixable.

Was looking for colognes for my son and I and we had the pleasure of having Emi help us. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and patient while we smelled a bunch of different colognes. Can't say enough how much she helped. I will shop there in the future if that is the type of employees they employ.

Penny is absolutely wonderful! I have not stepped foot in a hair salon for longer than any woman should. Penny listened to what I wanted to do with my hair and knocked it out of the park. The color, the cut, the style, the health and after care were all top notch. Looking forward to follow up appointments to maintain and no longer skeptical of finding the right one.

I called from my car asking about a perfume called rose era. They said they had it in stock and would keep it at the counter under my name. When I arrived at the store the " manager" told me that they do not have it and that a " mistake had been made"
