I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado with almost 170,000 miles on it. I went there today and had my oil changed. I was in and out no problems The guys were courteous. When I got home I was looking over my sales receipt and I see on the receipt on the service checklist differential / transaxle N/A. So I called Tallman's back and questioned the N/A on the checklist. They proceeded to tell me that they don't do that anymore unless the customer ask for it. I said what did you start doing that he says well ever since we experienced staff shortages? Step shortages it takes 5 minutes or less to check the fluid levels.It is partially my fault for not checking my checklist but I never heard of such a thing when you have a four-wheel drive vehicle the transaxle and the differential are as just as important as the oil change so beware . I have five vehicles and I'll never go back there again. The person on the phone says well just bring your vehicle back we'll check it for you,well I'm all the way up in remsen That's not going to happen.

I don't know what this place considers "express lube" but I have been in line for 40 mins with 2 cars in front of me and nothing has moved. 2 lanes open and nothing is moving. Does it really take your employees 40-50 mins to do one oil change??? Do your employees know how to do their jobs? No one should have to wait over an hour to get their car in for an express oil change!!

They literally forgot to put oil in my engine and let me drive off. My car immediately said oil pressure low. Do not drive. I go back and they tell me they forgot to put oil in my car and the car had no oil in it. Are you kidding me. Now I get to worry everyday if my engine is damaged. The manager is supposed to call me and I would expect some kind of warranty on my engine like any reputable place would do. Most garages warrenty their work for a year. Do they not have a checklist to check as the car leaves the garage. Might be a good idea. The probably should have a manager there at all times. I don't know if it's a great idea to operate a business if you are making such a egregious errors. Stay very far away from this place.

I was at the New Hartford location today for an oil change today around noon. The gentleman who served me was knowledgeable, kind and speedy. I know nothing about cars and he was very helpful. This has been my experience before and I will return! Thank you!!!

They were so helpful showing me problems about my car that needed to get fixed and temporarily fixed the issues so I could get them fixed. Got my oil changed filled everything I needed wiped my windows very very great spot

They didn't put oil in my truck. Before I realized that is what happened as zi live close to the this business, I ended up taking it a mechanic..Finally I figured out what happened and the manager of this business said it they were no longer liable because the mechanic assumed liability, despite he didn't check oil because the scan showed a sensor. This manager is a blame shifting jerk and approached me with an attitude when I was nothing but calm until that point. I plan to tell wveryone about what a drag he is. He could of at least been professional.
