Market 32 is fine. It has everything you need from a grocery store plus a little more. The fresh over the counter/hot food selection is pretty good as well. Overall i think that it is slightly more expensive than I'm used to since it the slightly higher brand, which comes with it a slightly higher price. I haven't found the quality to particularly be that amazing here, but when I need an item that isn't likely to be found at the Hannaford I will go here. Also the doughnuts they have at their bakery are huge but not amazing. Kind of dry. I think I'd be more thrilled if I could get a coffee for here, but I would probably complain about the price of that too.

Terrible. The black guy that works the meat counter curses at the customer and acts like he is in the ghetto. I overheard him talking to a co worker about how much he hates all these white customers.

This is the first Price Chopper I went to that has switched to Market 32, although a few in Albany County I went to before that name was coined have since then. It was called Central Market until the '70s. The only nominal differences were the carts and some of the signage inside. Other than that, it's pretty much the same; just a touch more posh. It's one of the few outside the Capital Region and New England. They'll all switch to 32 eventually (not Tops as that's Union and separately managed, nor Market Bistro in Latham). It could be to avoid confusion with a chain in Kansas and Missouri. 32 is 1932, when Central was founded, not NY Route 32. I go to Price Chopper to earn points to save at Sunoco, especially when Tops' own separate promotion is on hiatus. It may cost more to earn than it saves, but you take what you can these days.

Thank you to the honest employee(s) that retrieved my purse without anything stolen this week. Most people would’ve wiped it clean. I am thankful for your honesty and character.

Before I put our groceries on the conveyor belt I waited for it to be cleaned, like the sign says. Cashier said “it’s ok, it’s not dirty”. I thought it was supposed to be wiped down after every purchase. There was someone right before me. In these troubled times , it should have been wiped down.

I went to switch to using this pharmacy. I've never used a grocery store pharmacy before and thought the convenience would by itself be worth the switch. The pharmacist was very rude, and was complaining about having to contact my previous online pharmacist. The employees were nice, but the pharmacist was not pleasant to deal with.

I was in the New Hartford location yesterday , and I just have to commend your hard working staff . While going through your store to fill my very long list , I saw at least one staff member in almost every isle stocking . And almost everyone I passed had a friendly hello for me. Then when checking out , I realized I have forgotten an item , and expressed to the cashier I did not want to have to come back for a couple weeks. As no one was behind me she allowed me to run and get the item . Thank you for all your team does to keep us stocked up so we can stay home !

They don’t care about their employees in Cicero, NY as they claim to. They don’t provide their cashiers with hand sanitizer at their registers! Cashiers handle dirty money, dirty reusable bags, and dirty groceries! At courtesy desk I was told that they’ve been out of it for a couple weeks and they can’t get it! Um, they can get it from the distributor! Who are they fooling!

They trick you into buying soda saying it was $0.49 and then you get up to the counter and they wanted to charge you over a dollar something

Started with most of the local stores in the Utica area inconveniently changing their store ours from 24 hrs. Now some are only opened until 10pm and some being opened until 1am and only certain days. Their "10 for $10" sales are a straight rip-off as you can find most of those items for sale at "other places" at regular price every day much cheaper. Not THAT big a deal, however I recently bought a 5.7lb package of beef eye of round, specifically at the New Hartford store marked "butchers sale" ( or something like that) for $2.99 per lb. After picking up a few other items I went to cash-out (around 12:30am) and I immediately noticed the final price was almost DOUBLE what it should have been. Upon reading the receipt I realized the eye of round rang up at what I thought at the time was full price. Naturally, the cashier can't do anything about it and had to go back during customer service hrs. Fine. I go back 2 days later with the receipt only to have the snide "customer service" kid go back to the meat department to check the sale it somehow it rang up as TWICE as many lbs as it should have. After pleading my case that there weren't even any packages on the shelf that big, but I also weighed it when I got home which was 5.9lbs (right on considering the water and package weight would add a couple ounces) Guess what...yupper! "There's nothing we can do". Gee, imagine that! RIP-OFF artists at work! Really convenient that their receipts don't show the weight nor sale price of items like that! LAST RED CENT I'LL ***EVER*** SPEND AT A ***WALLET CHOPPER***!!!

I can NOT afford anything full price, here, but if it's on sale & has store coupons - then it's a DEAL! Plus, I can walk and so it saves money on transportation; people that hang out by the outer doors should be a little father back, so you can choose to either visit with them or not! The only place I buy Lobster, when its $5.99 lb, boneless chicken @ $1.77 lb, & Half & Half - 1/2 Gal @ $3.99! Employees are happy & it shows. The security guard is a bit overkill (pun intended)!
