When my daughter went to tutor time she needed to take gas reflex medicine to help her digest her milk i shortly after find out that's they will not give her, her medicine if she was asleep they will say they will come back later to give to her & they wouldn't!!! So my daughter will be suffering in pain crying because she didn't have her medicine that is needed 3 times a day to help her digest. ( morning afternoon & evening ) where tutor time was responsible to give it to her during the afternoon. Also a lot of the staff are just young kids as teachers!!! I was not happy with this daycare as it's very nice and clean inside but looks can be deceiving! I took my daughter out of there. I Just wanted to give my review for other moms out there to know!

Both of my kids attended tutor time. My son began around age 2 and daughter at 8 months. Initially they were doing well at tutor time but then we started noticing some issues but let them slide thinking they were one off scenarios. But the last two weeks they attended tutor time was the worst experience for us. Each day there was a problem and it progressively got more and more concerning. In the last 2 weeks my daughters crib sheet got switched with another child’s despite being labeled and it took several reminders to get it back. The last week alone my daughters bottle was missing from her bag and the staff had no idea where it went (probably with another parent). The next day she was sent home with another child’s TWO bottles. So I have no idea if she drank another kids milk/formula etc instead (serious hygiene issue plus concern for any child who has allergies/milk sensitivities). Next day I got my son’s Epipen box back (2 days before his last day) which didn’t make sense because what if there was an emergency the last 2 days in school and he needed it? Plus a pen was missing from the box when it was never used. The staff had no idea where it disappeared. Zero accountability here they just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. My husband asked Danielle to speak to management regarding this and she said that “I am the management.” Just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse the next day they fed my vegetarian daughter chicken nuggets and then tried to pass it off as if it was incorrectly noted on the brightwheel app. That’s not acceptable. They also sent her home on her last day with another child’s pacifier in her mouth. I am beyond appalled. The same day was my son’s last day and of course they didn’t send his bookbag with his crib sheet and blanket and refused to find it anywhere besides his classroom. They finally found it in ANOTHER classroom. My son slept without a crib sheet and blanket the entire week and neither his teacher nor admin staff told us that they could not locate his bag and sheet/blanket all week. He slept directly on the cot all week - that is extremely irresponsible. Both kids have been admitted to the ER recently (separate times) due to illnesses contracted at the center. No one knows what they are doing at this center. They do not care about the children only $$$ and constantly ignore messages on the app they prefer we use to communicate. The management is seriously lacking and it is a hit or a miss having decent teachers. I want to emphasize that management seriously doesn’t care, nor do they acknowledge serious safety issues. Do yourself a favor and don’t send your kids here. Our 11 month old started refusing to sit in her car seat in the morning and would cry every morning when she knew it was time for school over the last few weeks. Often times they wouldn’t change her diaper regularly and she would come home with a terrible rash. Our 3 year old would verbalized that he hated school over the last few weeks. We are glad both of our kids no longer go to tutor time. This place has seriously degraded and needs new management.

When I first started my son at TT in New City, I was nervous as we found it difficult to start our son in a place where he would be comfortable, educated, and cared for. Our son started at 3. The first situation that rubbed us the wrong way, was a situation during nap time. My son was not tired, and did not want to set his cot up and sleep. While I understand redirection and reinforcement, what happens next is completely inappropriate and borderline abuse in an educational setting. I was told my son had to stand up the entire nap time (about 2 hours depending as nap time is during break time for staff), if he did not set his cot up to sleep. When confronted about it, there were no apologies, accountability, and I do not understand why a young child would not be presented with an optional quiet activity at the table rather than “standing up” for the duration of nap time. The second situation that transpired, was my son constantly telling his mother and I he is unhappy with the way he is treated by his teachers. He complained that they would tell him things such as his hobbies are not appropriate (he’s now 4, he enjoys playing the switch, pretty typical behavior of a young child), that his snacks would be confiscated by teachers and not returned to him, and would give an extremely difficult time going to school in the mornings. As parents, this is not only disheartening for us to experience, but also puts us in a situation where we immediately began looking for new placement. My job offers a discount for this center. It is a small percentage that I was told would be applied to the next billing cycle. They did not apply it until 2 billing cycles later, and tried to say it was applied when I was charged by my bank the full amount. When I called, Karen was extremely rude and condescending, and did not want to apply the amount. It took constant back and forth for me to get my small discount. This is supposed to be an EDUCATIONAL setting, which you would think with the amount needed to pay per month, would have some sort of professionalism to it, especially by the woman running the center. Karen Wizeman is completely unprofessional, under qualified, rude, and should not be working with children. When my sons mother and I voiced every concern, she had absolutely nothing to say, as her only concern was taking our deposit and getting our last payment. We gave 3 months notice that we were looking for new placement. Karen herself stated “just let us know when his last day will be and you will receive your deposit back.” We kept every message for our own benefit. When it came to us letting them know his last day, they tried charging us for an extra week he wouldn’t even be attending, by using our deposit and charging us hundreds more. Karen was extremely rude, and stated we did not give “enough notice”, but messages don’t lie when we have them from previous circumstances. We noticed after we began becoming more vocal about our concerns their treatment to us changed. This center does not value students. They only see dollar signs.

My son has attended tutor time since he turned 1. All of his teachers have been amazing. Teachers and Admin are so responsive via the app to any and all questions. They constantly upload information in real time regarding meals, diapers, activities and mostly importantly adorable pictures. I always feel connected to my son, which is invaluable. He loves it and so do we. I highly recommend. The staff work very hard to stay open all year round and during inclement weather!

From the first email I have felt my son would be in wonderful hands at Tutor Time of New City. Ms. Heather and Ms. Karen answered a series of questions with such grace and kindness before my son was even enrolled. His teachers have always shown extreme compassion with his struggles. At 3 years old going on 4 years old this was his first time in a school setting and with this amazing staff it went so well. The greeting at the door was by far the most amazing experience for me as a mother. I commend the entire staff for knowing every child's name and parent. As he heads to Kindergarten in the fall I am sad for him to leave but hope to send his little sister in a year. For a first school experience I definitely recommend Tutor Time of New City.

My daughter loves going to school at Tutor Time and has learned so much being there. She’s also become more social and independent. I also, really enjoy the app updates and daily communication. It’s always consistent and transparent. Being away from my toddler is difficult but Tutor Time helps ease the transition. I’m grateful for the teachers and helpful administrators!

It has always been a wonderful experience with tutor time. I feel like my kids got amazing teachers who helped me navigate through different milestones with kids. I love the bright wheel app and detailed use of app in telling what the kid has been doing since I dropped them their. Thanks Tutor time for preparing me little ones for the next step in life.

Our son, who is two and a half years old, has been attending tutor time since he was three months old. As a new mom I dreaded the task of having to return to work and trust my sons care with someone else. I found tutor time based on great reviews and when I myself stepped foot inside the facility I knew it was the right place. The staff are welcoming, caring and truly love what they do. I not only look forward to seeing my son at the end of the day but his teachers as well. They are so interactive here and my son has learned so much. The thought has never crossed my mind to go elsewhere.

Our daughter went to Tutor Time and loved it. Now our 1 1/2 year old son goes here and he is having a great time, learns a lot and loves all the staff. There is not a day goes by that he doesn’t smile when he is dropped off. Everyone is so caring, loving and amazing. Thank you Tutor Time!

My daughter has been going to Tutor Time in new city since she was 5 months and she loves going every day. I personally love seeing how much she is developing every day and the updates I receive throughout the day from their App.

Our daughter has been at Tutor Time for a year and a half now & we all (especially her) love it! We took a short time off last Spring and as soon as she returned, it was like she was a totally different person! She really was missing out and it became clear how much she really was developing being enrolled in TT. Her teachers have all been really great to work with and always promptly answer my never ending Mom questions. The entire staff is super friendly as well. It's so nice to have a child actually smile when we pull into the parking lot. This was one of the best decisions we could have made for our daughter & are excited to see her continue to grow!

My 2 year old daughter has been going to Tutor Time for about a year now and I am very happy to say that she comes home with something new that she has learned from school every day. She seems happy and she knows her teachers and friends names and talks about them at home. Tutor Time without a doubt has been valuable to our family because as an essential employee, they work with our household schedule and they have taken the required measurements to care for our child and give us peace of mind. I totally recommend them to any parent looking for a reliable daycare.

Tutor Time New City is a great center where there is open and honest conversations that are being made! This place is a piece of mind for my husband and I! Additionally, they follow strict regimented guidelines once COVID has happened and keeps their facility clean and safe for all. All staff members are always in masks and even parents are asked to wear them at pick up. The administration has a great deal of educational experience, are extremely professional, straight to the point with feedback and you are not getting "what you want to hear" which as an educator myself I appreciate so much! We have come from other facilities and the differences are incomparable with how much our son has grown as a young learner! Thank you Tutor Time New City for being an amazing fit for our family and teaching educational and social skills that last a lifetime!
